A pause for thankfulness ~

Have you ever had a day where you were weepy? Not weepy with sadness but with gladness. With pure thankfulness for all that is good in your life. We all have our days when we're frustrated and stressed about day to day things, don't get me wrong. But today, I am thankful. Not that I'm not every day but the emotion of thankfulness has overflowed in me this day.

I'm thankful to our heavenly Father for everything imaginable. For His unconditional love, for His gift of His only Son to die for mankind's sins that we may live with Him in Heaven. For patience with mankind, loving us and waiting for all to turn to Him.

I'm thankful for my sweet husband, who has been so wonderful to me our entire married life together, knowing that I so love being home, being domestic, being with our children and to have the freedom to create at will.

I'm thankful for my precious boys. I love them all so very dearly ~ each in their very own way and for the wonderful men they are becoming.

I'm thankful for my parents, their love, my upbringing and for all that they surrounded me with as a child.

I'm thankful for my precious friends. Those that I've known for so many years, who if I were to not talk to for months, we would pick up right where we left off and not miss a beat. And for these wonderful friends that I've met through this blogging world. I have been constantly amazed at the pure sweetness of you all. The goodness here overflows. If you are new to blogging, you will be welcomed with open arms, embraced and lifted up.

I'm thankful for so very much more, (good health!) I could go on and on. Today, my eyes fill with tears and fall to my cheeks because my heart is full of thankfulness . . .

Your expressions of gratitude are from the heart and that comes through even this impersonal, technological means of communication.

Let your tears flow from a full heart. Mine often do, too.

Dawn , you speak so sweetly and your work also reflects that sweetness to create something of beauty and that speaks to the heart. Every detail tells a story -- just looking at them is a delight -- wish I could purchase each one . Your love of Christ truly touches my soul this day -- I have been blessed beyond measure and truly beyond my worth -- that God would give his son for me , for mankind ! Ah the true measure of love -- at this season when love is talked of so easily .Yes , you and people of the heart that seem to inhabit this blog world make me smile and cry at times ,
It truly amazes me . as I wrote on my blog days ago . Yes, tears do fall as I write this -- a good day
A great day -- My Grandson -- Today is 9 - last year a year of upheaval in his and my dtr and grand dtr life , and the whole family as well . MY God is
sufficient to bring about healing of their hearts and strength, It is a new year a fresh start . Yes !!! today I am thankful -- and especially for you today who made me pause and reflect on God's goodness in an unlikely place -- my computer ,

Thank you for the beautiful reminder! We ALL have so much to be thankful for but rarely take the time to BE thankful. Among all of my other blessings, I am thankful that there are people like you to provide that gentle reminder.
