As I stroll through so many old blog photos,
I realize how much I really DO love making things!!!
And that I'm not too good at making multiples...
or even the same type of item twice ~
So I guess if you ever buy a piece of my artwork,
or anything else that I've made...
you're pretty much guaranteed that it's a one-of-a-kind!!
I don't know why I'm like that, I guess
my creative muse must love change...
and that's really my reason for offering my tutorials too :)
A sweet Valentine image for you ~
Some wonderful treasures I've found in the past...
Pillows I made from my most favorite barkcloth I found EVER!
These even had feather inserts....
I love making the back of the pillow gorgeous!!
Plus you can easily remove it to launder ~
Another assemblage that I made back in "the day"
circa 2007
I just love paper clay ~
I want to make a doll next....and make her clothes too!
This little fairy stood only about three inches tall ~
she was one of my very first paper clay creations.
Yes, she is chunky,
and yes, she has cankles
(calves that really don't have ankles :)
And my boys make fun of her expression but I loved her!!
And so did my daughter-in-law Emily....
so she has her now!!!
Simple patriotic pillows I made for the antique store ~
The pillow on the right?
It's just an old muslin feedsack that I slipped a
feather insert inside,
then folded over and tied with a red-checked bow!

GREAT TIP:
Look at Ross, Marshall's or TJ Max for clearance pillows that
have feather inserts!!!
Don't worry about how ugly they are,
all you want is the inside!
You can buy them for under 10.00 or so and

Just fabric-covered cardboard with a sweet image
I scanned and printed out from my computer
housed inside the most precious little window ~
More paper clay sweeties ~
Paper clay work in progress items ~
