(You know I have to keep this!)
Thank you Ms Beverly!
Below is a glimpse of my next project I want to put together. I've had this in my mind for so very long and finally found the right suitcase that I could use. I can't wait to show this one to you when it's finished!
Here are some buttons that I already had in my collection that I've chosen for upcoming art projects ~ aren't they like little jewels?
Have you ever heard of Grandmother's Buttons? It's a beautiful store that has an amazing selection of buttons and button jewelry. Below are a few photos from their site but you must visit and see all the wonderful pieces that they offer!
Thank you all so, so much for the kind words you have said in your comments left for my giveaway. I enjoy blogging because of you!
I've recently been given awards by several sweet bloggers and I just had to tell you how much I appreciate that! I'm so sorry that I haven't gotten around to posting about them quite yet . . .
Thank you all so very much for stopping by to see me!

hope you have a lovely week..if your Sunday is any indication..it looks like it's off to a good start:0)
Love all the pretty vintage buttons. The jewelry is stunning too, especially that necklace.
Have a great week!
Those are some beautiful buttons that she gave you! I'm jealous :)
Oh..everything is just beautiful here!
I love it that you think of buttons as jewels.
I love old buttons -- I always
wonder what story they could tell . Did the rhinestone one adorn a special dress worn to impress a new beau . Was the plain white one from a simple dress handmade and worn with pride ? --loving stitches rendered .
Oh the stories they could tell -- thank you for showing us your buttons. The lovely items they will adorn will tell a new story , and as you always do - it will tell of grace and beauty --- Blessings , Kathy
Great buttons, and I love the little shoe.
I have been to Grandmother's Buttons, it is wonderful!!!! I didn't know they had a shop online, I am glad to see that. I had a wonderful time with some great friends there. Of course, the guy's were bored!!!!
How lucky you were to get those buttons.
Can't wait to see what you are working on.

how fun for u, to recieve such nice treasures! i am sucha button nut! i literally have jars and tins full. i so wish they could talk and tell about a fancy dinner they went to, or a ride in a carriage... i have made some jewelry with my grandparents treasures, pocket watch as the back ground and buttons, etc on top with part of the face of the watch showing. i am wanting to do an assemblange with some lace, letters and such, rather than keeping in a box... enjoy your toyz! vikki =)
What a fun day you must have had. I would keep that shoe pincushion too as I am a big pincushion person. I love enlarging the photos of the buttons and really studying them. I love them and am a bit green with envy. Here buttons are very expensive. Enjoy owning and creating with these treasures.

sweet treasures indeed:) those buttons are just glorious...and the tiny small shoe is too precious!!!
Such beautiful treasures (heavy sigh!). I love the shoe pincushion and don't blame you one bit for keeping it. I also love the handkerchiefs in the background.
I went to an estate sale this weekend and walked away with a shoe box filled with buttons - some not so unique and some very wonderful!
Enjoy!
Beautiful items! It sounds like you had a marvelous Sunday! Enjoy life!
Have a wonderful day
