A few Mother's Day goodies!

My middle son, Brad, has the most amazing taste. He also knows what I love! For Mother's Day he gave me the most wonderful framed print, you know I love this!! And also a set of gorgeous coasters with sepia toned images. I just love it all ~ he's always been so very thoughtful, thank you sweet Brad!

Now this is looking a little more realistic. I had forgotten a few necessary items that I just have to have on my workspace. I've been sorting and grouping so when I need to find something, I'll know where it is!

Another thing that I collect are vintage baby clothes patterns. I love the illustrations, their faces are just precious!

I'm so excited!!! For Mother's Day my husband is taking me to Scott's Antique Market tomorrow and is giving me MONEY!!! I'll be sure share with you what I find . . . I've just got to get this artroom finished. I am really needing to create ~ the neater it gets, the more I want to make something (which in turn messes it back up!) Oh well ~

I am lovin' the thrift store today!

I love going to the thrift store and finding things that I would normally buy as art supplies but finding them for such a deal!!!! Jute, hemp (love using it in my artwork), muslin pieces, some neat twill tape, the coolest little word book, and then these precious patent leather mary janes....pincushions maybe??

But the best, best thing was this paper organizer I found that was dirty, had spiderwebs, coffee stains on top and I took it to the front and asked the price . . . 2.99!!! I ran out the door with the thing on my back! I think it will only hold 8 1/2 x 11 sized paper but I have tons so I'm hoping it will help me with organizing. But guess what. Now that I have this little jewel I want to rip apart my artroom and totally organize and re-do! Help!!!!

I'll be adding the items below to my Etsy shop soon ~ the shoe's already there but the other goodies with be listed at good prices!
