One thing always leads to another...

Don't you agree?

You work on one area of the house and

it always seems to lead to another!

I finished painting the laundry room, hanging curtains and getting

everything put away or thrown away that I took out of there.

Now I want to finish painting our master bath ~

And no....I never finished it,

and this project was started before Christmas last year!!!

I hung paintable wallpaper on the bottom half of the wall,
then added molding to

the top edge and did get one coat of white paint on the wallpaper.

It looks like small ceiling tin tile...

so, we'll see, maybe I can get the bathroom finished too!!

It STILL looks like this!!
Avocado green with just a tiny bit of the new color above the wallpaper
because I couldn't stand it, I had to see the new color :)

The temps are cooler here in Georgia lately.

Which just makes me look forward to fall even more!!

Maybe that's why I'm sprucing up ~

I'm more of a Fall cleaning kinda girl rather

than Spring.

Snippets of Inspiration ~

Hey sweeties ~

I'm still working so hard...

Our sons have been amazing and such a wonderful help.

Please! Who am I kidding?

We couldn't have done it without them!

We are living in the new house now and I'm trying

to get things put away ~ the studio still remains to be moved though :)

Yes, I know, it's crazy full...

I'll be packing it up this week for the boys

to move it all in this coming weekend.

I'll take a few photos of the new house as soon as I can ~

He's still in ICU and they are warming his body back to a normal temperature

(after chilling him down yesterday to encourage healing.)

We're praying he breathes on his own tomorrow

after he comes out of the induced coma.

Birds, thoughts and a giveaway!

I'm trying so hard to get on a better schedule...
but I'm just naturally a night owl!!

So now, to prepare for the Barn House show,
I want to get busy creating.

But I'm going to make sure that the items
are light and can be shipped by the box full

to Portland and not cost an arm and a leg!

I've had this recent fascination with peat pots....
I can't get enough of them!!

So I think that I'll try to alter one and see what it will turn out like ~

Maybe with sweet wire handles....
seam binding tied on each side...

and then I need to decide how
I want to fill them and decorate the outside.

I think they need to be earthy...
but who know what they'll turn out like ~
