Busy as a bee!!

I really have been! I've been trying to de-clutter around here and
remembered I had two sachets that I had almost finished SO...
I pulled them out and put these sweeties together!

I used fragments of muslin that I'd printed images on, one roses
and the other French text. Added some beautiful antique lace,
wedding lace snippets and of course seam binding and rhinestones!

I've just added them both to my Etsy shop if you'd like to take a peek ~

No, I still haven't gotten back to working on my sweet doll, but will soon!

Happy Thursday dear friends!!!

Trying to let go ~

It feels so good to have the studio neat and tidy now!!!
In the process of cleaning I've found a few treasures that
I've decided to list in my Etsy shop!

There's no rhyme or reason to them but it's just time to let a few things go ~
I'll be listing a several items each day so hopefully
I can lighten the load a little bit around here!

Take a peek at my offerings if you'd like...

Thank you all so much for your sweet comments about my studio makeover!!!

Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday dear friends,

Where THIS blogger creates!

Oh well, I'm a day late and a dollar short for that party!!
But no matter, I feel like having my very own shindig after
completing this studio transformation!!!

There is more space!!
Yes, I still have a few piles and goodness gracious
I just hope I can remember where I put everything.
If you're OCD these pics may seriously test you!

I really tried to group things though.
Now that my sewing machine is in the extra room,
I've placed most all of the sewing supplies in there
except of course all of the STACKS AND STACKS
of, I'm not moving all that.

So here are the photos I want to share with you ~
It's still not perfect but a vast improvement and
in doing this it has fired me up to create!!!

Here's a peek (just please ignore any dust you may see!)
And some of that clutter on top of the bookshelves
and black amoire will end up in my Etsy.

Wonderful Santa created by artist and friend Becky Carney ~

My advent calendar published in Somerset magazine ~

Artwork gifts from dear friends ~

Inspiration board ~

So, wanna come over and make something pretty??!!

Thank you always for stopping by to see what I'm up to.
I think I hear a little dolly calling my name....

Happy weekend precious friends,

Sweet inspiration and just a little bit of stalling ~

A few wonderful images to inspire you today!
Click, save and use...

I have a beautiful idea to share below!
Do you love the feel of a canopy bed?
Simply install two curtain rods you love to your ceiling,
then add a giant swath of GORGEOUS fabric and VOILA!
You are sleeping in luxury....

I'm so in love with Ralph Lauren.
Well, not really HIM but with his classic, timeless style.
This bedding below is a Ralph Lauren pattern, Guinevere.
I have a piece of fabric in the pattern and a ruffled shower curtain too.
Crazy, huh?
That I would settle for fragments of it...
But I always thought that the fabric
would make such beautiful accent pillows in our living room.

I worked in a drapery workroom for a VERY short time
(can you say "sweat shop"?)
and I learned how to create
this gorgeous window treatment.
We called it a butterfly shade....
I'm still so in love with it.

And I've always loved toile. ALWAYS.
It's timeless to me....a classic.
The snippet below is from a dining room but don't you
absolutely LOVE how those curtains are scalloped????
A guest bedroom would so gorgeous
in all blue and white toile,
don't you think?

The stalling part?
Well, I am SO very close to taking photos of the studio!!!
I'm almost there and can't wait to share how it looks now!

Wishing you a wonderful Thursday sweet friends....
Remember to take time to enjoy the little things ~
seems time is passing by so quickly!

much love and hugs,
