Making progress!

I've now moved on to the dining room and kitchen
of the sweet farmhouse ~

The reason why??

Because we can move the furniture into it easily and it won't

affect our everyday living at the old house.

Dark paneling is SO not my style so it just had to be painted!

I love the beams though and old cabinets

so I'm leaving the dark trim to tie all of that together.

Right now this is simply Kilz primer ~ and a serious amount of cutting in!!!!

Don't you love the view out the windows?

Wonderful old pecan trees heavy laden with yummy nuts!

Yes, sweet friends, that is the back of the stove
showing into the dining room below!

I plan on placing a pretty iron baker's rack
directly behind it to camouflage it.....

We'll see how that works :)
