Something a little new and thank you's are in order!

First, I have to show my new little something!

I had a sweet customer ask me if I could make an iPhone case for her...

in the same style that I make my needle books ~

well, I figured I could, so I said yes!

Not having an iPhone, I had to ask for measurements

and figured I could get by with those.

Well, no.

I made a prototype and took it to my local cellular store

to see if it would fit....my first case was MASSIVE!

But it really helped me see the size and recalculate

and this is what I came up with ~

I sure hope it works...I'll find out in a few days when she receives it!!

And I have to thank you for being SO, SO generous and giving to Julie's fund

for her brain treatments....the total is now over ten thousand dollars!!!!!

What a true blessing....I thank you for your generous heart.

Plus, I want to thank you for your precious comments on my giveaway post,

you sure know how to make a girl feel loved!!!!!

Lastly, thank you so much for buying my wares from my Etsy shop.

My little needle books are selling like hot cakes and it just feeds my soul

to see someone else love something that I've made ~

Giving in the spirit of love ~

Just when you think you've got it tough

you find out something like this

and it puts everything into perspective!!

Our oldest son, Brent, went to Savannah College of Art and Design

and he has learned this week that one of his dear classmates,

Julie Underwood is very ill and in need of expensive medical care.

I don't normally post things like this but

feel the need to share Julie's story with you.

Julie is an amazing young woman

who brings light and love to everyone she meets.

Facing a scary brain tumor, expensive treatment and limited options,

her friends and family are on a mission to raise funds

to support her on her road to healing.

We are spreading the word to help raise money

for this sweet young girl.
