A clean, fresh face!!!

That's what this feels like!!!

Like I've washed off tons of make-up and

my face is now fresh and sparkly clean!

I've been wanting to clean this ol' blog up

for SO LONG and I finally did it!

I hope that it loads faster for you all now too.

Please let me know if it does, OK??

I may clean it up even more, we'll see.

But for now I just love it!!!

And in other news....

You have GOT to see what I found at the thrift last week!!!

A 100.00 Rowenta ironing board for only...

wait for it...

12.00!!!

Can you believe that?

Then I found the perfect cover on Amazon for just 14.00.

It is rock solid and has a HUGE ironing surface.

It's the simple things that make me happy!!!

And lastly, I have a new hair cut and just thought I'd share it with you!!!

Hahaha!

And yes...I'm in my moo moo here...but who cares ~

Having your hair done always makes you feel amazing!

I have been blogging for

EIGHT YEARS!!!

AMAZING...AMAZING!!!

My first blog post was on February 11th, 2007.

through this little blog.

Friends who've been with me through this entire journey even!

I've shared so many projects, things I've made and ideas as well.

I've been little lazy lately and haven't posted very frequently

but really do plan on getting back in the groove!

I already feel that 2015 is going to be a wonderful year

filled with goodness and promise.

I found a few Valentine's Day images to share!

I have a few projects in the making.

I'm working on a couple of treasure organizers!

One is a special order for a baby nursery and the other

will be up for sale in my Etsy shop when it's finished.

I still haven't gotten around to those needle books though!

I need make a tutorial for those because they make

such sweet little gifts...

Celebrating Seven Years of Sharing!!!

I can't even believe it!

February 11th was my seven year blogging anniversary!

Seven years of sharing my home,

family,

feelings,

creativity,

accomplishments,

discoveries and

basically

my life!

What a gift this little ol' blog has been.

I've made some of the most precious friends here.

And they are all around the world!!!

How amazing is THAT?

I always loved the idea of pen pals and blogging

has made it possible to have so many.

Some years have been better than others.

We all know that sometimes all that goes on

in our lives can prevent us from keeping up with our blogs.

But as a whole, I'm still so happy blogging.

I love sharing and love my friends here so much.

Thank you always for taking the time

A crazy ol' blogger ~

I think that's what I must be!!!

I was poking around my own blog...looking at stats and such,

then I realized THIS post is my

2,200th POST!!!

WOW!

I guess I'm just crazy or love sharing...

I don't know which one

(you all KNOW I love sharing!)

but I DO know

that when I don't post,

I miss you.

I've made so many precious friends through this blog and

found so many kindred spirits.

Yes, blogging has changed...not so many folks like to

visit blogs anymore.

With the instant gratification of Facebook and

the constant visual goodness of Pinterest...

it was a given.

Even comments have waned but I can't help myself.

I still love blogging and sharing!

So I want to thank you precious friends ~

for taking the time to stop by my blog,

for your friendship,

for caring about what I'm making,

or not making...

and simply for just being there!

And don't you worry....
I don't plan on stopping!
Sometimes I skip a day or so
but I still love blogging so much ~

Thoughts on this big ol' blog world ~

Can you even believe how BIG blogging has become?

When I started in 2007 it was just the beginning (to me, anyway)...

and it was so wonderful!

Visiting beautiful blogs online and seeing such amazing inspiration,

FOR FREE! It was such a gift!!! And, of course, it still is....

Women love seeing beautiful things,

ideas they can use in their own homes,

recipes they can make for those they love,

plus photos that make them swoon and renew their spirit

to make something wonderful.

The best thing about blogs and sharing is that

you can find the best ideas to use for yourself,

to create gifts for someone you love...

or just to ignite that creative fire in you that you'd forgotten about.

I wanted to tell you a little something.

If you blog...

and think, "oh well, my blog is so tiny,

who really cares what I post?"

WHAT YOU POST MATTERS.

You will enjoy sharing with others,

and meet so many precious friends and

you are documenting your life!

Don't worry about being a BIG BLOG,

I'm not big by no means,

I'm just trying to make a tiny living to help out my family

and still continue to do what I love...making neat stuff!

What I'm trying to say here is

keep blogging, keep sharing, and

keep believing

To my sweet traveling companions ~

Sometimes I worry....

that what I may present here on my little blog

is just dribble but when you respond to posts like you do,

it makes me realize that it doesn't matter if the blog post is amazing or stellar ~

but just that it's from the heart and in the spirit of sharing.

There are so many of us who are going through the same things!

You all truly are kindred spirits and we don't travel these roads in life alone....

and the blog world helps us understand this even more so ~

I didn't get to spend any time in the studio this past weekend and

seem to have waaaay too many ideas on my mind.

When that happens I'll walk in there

and don't know WHICH direction to go in...

so I end up walking right back out. ugh.

The goal this week?

Be decisive and productive ~

Striking a chord ~

Isn't it amazing how we all doubt ourselves so?

If comments are low or our post isn't really that exciting,

it's easy to feel lost and question why we even bother ~

BUT.

We all know why we DO keep going, blogging and sharing ~

We enjoy the precious friendships we've made here!

 It's so wonderful to meet kindred spirits who love the same things we do.
