Something new ~

Today was a good, creative day!

I've wanted to make more angel wings to sell

and finally made a new pair ~

These are just a little different though.

I printed beautiful French script onto the muslin

for the ruffles!

I simply used sticker paper placed onto the back of very thin,

pressed muslin and ran it through my inkjet printer!

This one pair is listed for a customer BUT ~

you can always purchase the tutorial to make them

in my Etsy too!

Plus, I have a few orders for candy cup ornaments SO....

why not make a few more?

What I've been up to...

Yes....more angel wings!

I received a special order for a larger pair...and ruffled on the back too!

I just finished them...and one pair of the original size too...

If you've purchased my tutorial ~ you can enlarge the pattern and

create these as a bigger size!

Head to Staples and enlarge my pattern...

Simply use a stronger interfacing than what I suggest

in the tutorial ~ just so they won't flop over :)

I took a pic of the 11" wings on the back of one of my dining room chairs...

just to give you an idea of the size ~

Pure sweetness ~

The weather has been absolutely BEAUTIFUL here in Georgia

these last few days ~ breezy cool days and crisp cool nights.

My sweet daughter-in-law Emily took these pics yesterday and I just

have to share them with you!

Can you believe what a big girl Clara is???

She's growing like a little weed...needing all new pants for winter too!

Such a sweet baby...

 

The neighbor's cat loves to visit and Clara loves for her to visit too!!!

All the while, Murray is busy dozing...too bad we can't remember this time in our lives!

Napping is a full time job!

But he must be dreaming of something wonderful ~

just look at that sweet smile on his face!!!

I've been working on a few special orders of angel wings...

but to tell you the truth,

that is why I create tutorials.

Just so I don't have to keep creating the same thing

over and over again.

Doing that always seems to crush my creativity ~

And believe me,

I don't need any help doing that...
I can do that well enough on my own :)

As an artist, I've always, always wanted to share ~

My prices are low because in today's economy

I realize that we all don't have tons of money to spend

on a random tutorial.

But what I do hope is this...

that you can use any of my tutorials to create something beautiful.

Something that you are proud to give as a gift to someone you love

or just to enjoy for yourself!!!

In my tutorials, I always encourage you to use things you already have

so you don't have to stress over having the exact

components that have been used.
