I'm so loving this new chapter sweet friends!!!

This is the last artwork I created for a dear friend the end of this past September.

She was so pleased with it.

Thank you precious Mary for supporting my creativity dear friend.

I was closing up shop and preparing for a huge move to our new home.

And believe me.

IT HAS BEEN HUGE.

What has happened between then and now?

Caring for my precious grandbabies....

Look at baby Tilly, now 9 months old!!

REALLY?

Clara is 9 going on 10....Murray is now 6!!!

They love their baby sister so much!

Our middle son Brad sold our 2nd son David and his wife Heather their new home!!!

PLUS...they are expecting a new baby in May!!!!

Owen is going to be a big brother!!!

We are so loving that our family is growing.

And their new home is closer to us and is just beautiful!

My precious mother-in-law...Grandma Jackie had her 80th birthday party and

we all celebrated with her!!! Baby Tilly loves her as we all do!

Little Miss Ellie is so loving our new digs...

The gorgeous arrangement that sweet Tammy made for our holiday table this year...

These sweetie pies came to Trick or Treat in out new neighborhood too!!!

They had such a blast!

These precious days ~

Sometimes we tend to rush through our days...

being so very busy.

There is always so much to do, to get accomplished!

As I grow older I realize how very precious

each and every day is.

They are flying by faster and faster!!!

My goodness she has grown up so very much!!!

My biggest accomplishment lately other than making soap???

This memory organizer for my sweet friend Cindy!

All created from vintage damask drapes...

It may look like you should shove shoes inside of it, but no.

The pockets are meant to hold treasures and precious goodies

that you love and want to see each and every day ~

Goodness.....just pure goodness!

Dear friends...I just received my fresh-off-the-press copy

of Better Homes & Gardens HOLIDAY CRAFTS!!!!

My sweet snowmen are featured inside so I had to share the

little photo with you...it's not a big ol' feature but I'm so honored

that they contacted me

and had me create these little guys just for this issue!

It should be on news stands August 1st and there are so many

wonderful holiday decorating ideas...you will love it!!!!

All perfect for Halloween AND Christmas!

Don't faint but I even made something this weekend!

A small partial beeswax collage using the most beautiful image ever...

By-the-way...did you know you could braid crinkled seam binding???

I LOVE IT!

I'm such a seam binding freak anyway...I still need to take pics of the color cards

that I received last week! If you love using it, the color cards are SO worth the money!!!!

A dear friend of mine wanted this collage the minute I posted it so....I am so grateful!

I DID list a few gorgeous needlepoint pieces that I have

had (HOARDED) for a long time....

I just haven't done anything with them so maybe someone else will?

The sweetest part of my weekend???

This little angel....

she even ASKED me to take her picture!!!

Little ham....

She was making all these funny faces and I said,

just smile, sweetie....

We went out on the front porch together to water my big ol' ferns

and of course, she got her clothes wet!!! This baby LOVES water!

So I tossed her outfit in the dryer and let her wear a soft tie-dye t-shirt of Noah's,

well....she LOVED IT! And didn't want to take it off till she left!

Look at the precious photo I FINALLY got of our baby Clara....

she's not such a baby any more you know.

She's waiting on her little baby brother Murray to arrive

around September 9th!!!!

A little hammering...a little nailing....and it's finally looking like home ~

After finishing the tree up this weekend,

I couldn't stand looking at our bare walls any longer!

It's funny how it goes, hanging pictures ~

once you get to hammering and making a few commitments,

you get in the groove and it gets easier and easier as you go!

We love these two winter prints...we leave them up all year too,

they're just so beautiful.

(I'm sorry about these pics,

I took them about midnight last night so we're lucky

you can see anything!)

Yes, I piled the tree up on our end table...

only had to move a lamp!

Gifts will be under the tree and under the table as well ~

Dennis and I both LOVE clocks...

can you tell?

I love lambs and sheep.
This print is so old and very dark but I solved the problem

by hanging right over a lamp...instant illumination ~
and I never realized how

lovely it really was!

I hung a wonderful, very long military photo
over the door to the foyer,

it's amazing!!!

OH and can you see the mess I still have in the studio?

I'm slowly making my way to it.

Over the mantle is still in limbo.
I have a few favorites propped up there for now.

I love this mirror in the foyer ~

And this one is enormous and so ornate ~

I can't get over how good this makes me feel

to get things up on the walls!!
