Pretty flowers, precious shoes . . . and sweet gifts ~

I found this beautiful postcard for you the other day ~
It has such a wonderful look to it . . .

I finished a few things!!
Just a small jar featuring the most precious petite doll shoes ~
Embellished with millinery flowers, old lace and seam binding.
What is it about small things?
They just tug at your heart...

SOLD ~ Thank you so much Rose!!

And remember all the jar lids I found while out junkin'?
I wanted to make these adorable pincushions with them!
These are very similar to the ones offered in this month's Artist Class.
I just used the zinc jar lid for the bottom ~
I need to do a bunch more to go in the antique space!!

And there's nothing better than looking in your mailbox
and seeing a little parcel addressed to you!!!
Look at the gorgeous Valentine and tag that Sharon sent me!!
Thank you so much sweet girl,
I just love them both....they are so beautiful!!!

Well, you are not going to believe this BUT
today we have a SNOW day!!!!
We are actually supposed to get a little snow
here in Georgia!
Well, we'll see :)
I think I should be ashamed to show any pics here
because so many of you are covered up with the stuff!!!!

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Friday my sweet friends!!
hugs and love,
Dawn

Thank you for your kind comments on my bee skep! Of course you can copy them for your booth.
I have been wanting to visit the shops in Griffin, but haven't had a chance yet.... which mall are you in?
(Yes, the chicken wire is painted with brown paint to darken it, and be careful, it is hard on your hands and wrists--I have overdone it lately and am having lots of pain)
I love all your projects, and since I need to give up wire for awhile, I'd like to try some of your paper techniques if it is ok?

How beautiful! The ballet shoes are perfect - imagine a current or former ballerina lovingly looking at them with bold dreams or sweet memories as your treasure sits on her dressing table...

The pincushion is a natural beauty filled with your sense of just the right textures, tonal qualities and purpose!

Lovin' the Valentines goodies...they simply make me smile.

Dawn, send some of that energy you have up my way today! I knew I'd PAY for the housecleaning I did yesterday! *sigh* I though having bifocals meant I didn't actually have to SEE the dust! LOL! Not until the sun shines on it! EEEK!
Have a wonderful day!

Yours is the only blog I visit everday. It gets the creative juices flowing early. I don't know how you do it over and over. My son is in Baltimore with 30+ inches of snow and the boys at home get a school snow day because it might snow today-- too funny.

We had an Owl sitting in one of the trees in the back yard but he flew away before I could snap a picture of him. what a beautiful morning with the sun shining on the snow!! I think more pictures will be taken we don't see this down here in Georgia that often.
