One thing always leads to another...

Don't you agree?
You work on one area of the house and
it always seems to lead to another!

I finished painting the laundry room, hanging curtains and getting
everything put away or thrown away that I took out of there.
Now I want to finish painting our master bath ~
And no....I never finished it,
and this project was started before Christmas last year!!!

I hung paintable wallpaper on the bottom half of the wall,
then added molding to
the top edge and did get one coat of white paint on the wallpaper.
It looks like small ceiling tin tile...
so, we'll see, maybe I can get the bathroom finished too!!

It STILL looks like this!!
Avocado green with just a tiny bit of the new color above the wallpaper
because I couldn't stand it, I had to see the new color :)

The temps are cooler here in Georgia lately.
Which just makes me look forward to fall even more!!
Maybe that's why I'm sprucing up ~
I'm more of a Fall cleaning kinda girl rather
than Spring.

PS. I HAVE to share this wonderful giveaway with you!!
I've been drooling over this book from the moment
I saw it...well, Servies en Brocante is having a GIVEAWAY

Wishing you a great Tuesday dear friends!!!!
hugs and love,
Dawn

I'm with you... Fall cleaning is when I really get down an dirty!! I do a "good enough" Spring cleaning as I change out window treatments in a number of rooms and switch out my decor. But Fall is the heavy duty.. we like open windows and we live a windy/dusty area.. and by the time it's cool enough to keep windows closed.. I could grow a garden in the corners!! Looking forward to that cool enough to close the windows myself.

Goodmorning, dear sweet Dawn-
I know that feeling, when finishing something ,having made it all beautiful, you just want to do the same all over, so I wish you energy and cooler dayes to maybe also finish your master bathroom.
We still have very warm ( for me ) dayes here, so I`m totally worn out in the evenings ! Well not 35, anymore :-)
I wish you a beautiful day, dearest friend, with-or without painting in your bathroom.
Hugs and love, Dorthe

I'm right there with you - cooler temps make me want to nest. Plus I can't stand heat and humidity. Fall cleaning is fun to me!

Enjoy

Fresh and clean is a wonderful feeling any time of the year. Your bathroom will be gorgeous with the wallpaper and soft color above. Glad your weather is cooler as ours is today. Blissful cleaning dear...

I'll say. One thing always, always leads to another and sometimes we don't find our way back...your bathroom a case in point...for some time. I've got so many dead-end trails in this house it's not funny. And I used to be able to do.it.all. Sigh.

Oh don't you just love what a fresh coat of white paint can do? I used that tile paper in my old home...and it looked great....but for this house, I just redid my bathroom in Jane Austen text pages. Bathrooms are fun little rooms that we can just go crazy decorating! Like little jewel boxes!

thanks for sharing.

Hi Dawn

I recently saw what I thought was a great use for this type of wallpaper. They used it as a backsplash in their kitchen. I can't remember if they painted it then or not. I am going to try it in our Florida house which could use a backsplash. A lot cheaper then tile if it works and if not I can just take it off.

Will put it on my blog if it works but not until Nov. or later.

Hugs

Freda

ps - did you have trouble finding this paper?
