Look a little familiar?
I had a special order for my Prairie Girl
so I put together another one!
She's not the same really.
So many of the components are different.
I simply can't reproduce something exactly
because I love using one-of-a-kind elements
in each piece I make.
Old covers of books...vintage ledger paper...
and this one features wonderful pew pocket
to hold my prairie bundle!
She measures a whopping 13.5" x 17.5"...
I love this image so much...
I need to make a few prairie bags with her on the front!

Your Prairie Girl is charming.. love that little "pocket" you added.
The baby shower with all the food and gifts etc looks perfect. And little Clara.. not looking so little. If she's like my granddaughter, she'll be a great older sister to her baby brother.
She could make that little boy laugh like nobody else could! All but the waiting and it will go fast.. for everyone but the mommie to be.
I'm not the least bit surprised that you received a special order for another Prairie Girl, because the first one was so gorgeous... and the second one more than lives up to the beauty of her predecessor! All that nervous energy you're experiencing while waiting for baby Murray to make his appearance has certainly gotten your creative juices flowing!;) What a truly stunning creation! xoxo

The brown book cover, has such a beautiful tone ,that you wonderfully eccoed in the little sign on top, and the figures on one side of the ledger is great.
My day is running into evening here, but there is still a beautiful sky over the corn field outside my window.One of my daily blessings.
