For the love of beauty ~

I love it so...
beautiful images of all that I love.
I think that's why I love Pinterest too...
there's just so much beauty
and inspiration ~

Here are a few photos from old Victoria magazines,
they may be old but still....are so very beautiful!

And I can't quite remember where I found this porch photo,
but it still takes my breath away!

One of my most favorite photographs of the antique store I used to own...
I even hand painted the sign!

A favorite movie of mine...a total chick flick but if you are an artist,
you will LOVE it so ~

 I love beauty....it all forms!!!

Wishing you a beautiful Monday precious friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

I love those old pictures from Victoria... I had every copy from the beginning till it quit publication... and with another up coming move, my husband says... "You're not moving ALL those magazines are you?" Well, I had Victoria, Country Living from the beginning till mid 2003, Country Homes and Gardens.... no, I didn't move them all. I did give several years worth of Victoria to a friend. Sigh!!!!

I also loved that movie. Your store was sooo charming... I would have LOVED to shop there. We're in short supply (as in none) of shops like that here.

Have a wonderful Monday.

Oh I do love Miss Potter! I could pop it in right now while I putter cleaning. I really should, too. Love this gentle trip down Beauty and Memory Lane. Do you ever miss the store and want to do it again?

Sigh, me too! Old Victoria magazine from the 90's was the BEST, wasn't it? It would arrive in my mailbox and I would drop everything and lay in the sunroom and dream and dream...

When I got my first Victoria when they started up again, I was giddy and left a voice mail to the publisher...they probably thought I was crazy I was so happy... But, it is not the same as when it was first published. The photos and stories are not as rich and beautiful. I pull out the old copies when I need some inspiration or just a respite in a busy week. I come to you too Dawn for the same reason. Thanks my friend! Love, Penny

Dawn, this is one of my all-time favorite movies! I loved everything about it: the scenery, the story, and of course, her wonderful art. I cried when her fiance died. What an amazing woman she was, and an inspiration to all.
