I love statuary....among many other things!
The gorgeous aged patina of those that endure the weather....
I have pieces all around our home....
Sweet angels that used to be my grandmother's ~
I treasure them because she loved them.
Dennis gave me this precious little boy one year for Christmas....
to represent our five sons ~ I cried!
St. Francis...a concrete statue that resides by our fireplace ~
Just beautiful.

I love statuary, too, Dawn. We just went to Prague and Croatia and the patina on the outside statues just made me swoon! I think my companions thought of it as "dirty."

Hope that this weekend you'll be able to collapse and relax a bit. (I'm hoping the same for myself.) Statues are always intriguing...I have none in my home, but I do enjoy the ones in my garden.
