Well another step a little outside of my comfort zone is I've decided to
teach an art class at Karla's Cottage in the spring!!!
It will be the weekend of May 1st and there are 20 openings....

I saw Lisa Wednesday & she told me all about Karla's big party!!! Sounds like soooooooo much fun. I'm going to try to make that one! YOU will be awesome. You have NOTHING to be nervous about. You are an amazing artist & besides... it's just a bunch of friends getting together to PLAY! And Lisa said that we might try to all grab a coffee when you POP into town. I wish I could go to Ann's too but, I have a class that day. Hope coffee works out.

Good for you, Dawn! I've done that a few times since I entered my 40's. My biggest fear {besides flying} is public speaking, but I've done it for several years now at the Adult Ed classes I do at our high school every Spring and Fall. I still get a little nervous but nothing like the thought of the first time. Plus, they are small classes so that helps! : )

In the weekend paper, there was an article about the actor Jeff Bridges who described himself this way: I want to go to the party, you're just going to have to drag me there. It so perfectly describes me and perhaps you, too. Stepping outside the comfort zone always reaffirms life. Thanks for being willing to do that stepping or to be dragged, whichever you prefer. ;> (I'd think I had died and gone to heaven if I could be in your class.)
