Sadly, you are so right about Thanksgiving.
And, Christmas is just around the corner.

As a retailer it is even worse. You have to set up so early. I really do not like that.
Fortunately, most of my customers come for gifts for friends, and not seasonal things. (WHEW!)
But, I still need to get busy and make some new designs for them, (and me) too.

blessings
and thanks for all the sweet tutorials you provide.

Your tutorials are great and many come with great digital images. I've used them in the past for handmade gifts. I love that Country Living book and plan to click and buy. Thanks for sharing! I've got Christmas on my mind too...just too scared to say it out loud. We are all enjoying the fall decorating so much.

It will! But, shhh, I look forward to it every year, and my birthday is on Halloween so you'd think I'd be savoring Fall more! I like that first book you featured above; I may look into getting that one. Great idea with the re-using boxes as gift boxes. I always wind up with something that doesn't fit a standard gift box!

Yes, it will and I'll be scrambling at the last possible moment like always. It's who I am. Oh, I did hear my first Christmas song in a department store this week...Kohl's. "White Christmas" by Bing Crosby no less... It was way too soon even though it's one of my favorites.

The rag ball ornaments are one of my favorites to make. For the tags I love to use black and white photos of my children when they were little. Will you be at the Country Living show in Atlanta?
