Still fluffing ~

I'm still playing around in the studio....doing a few projects that I've been meaning to do for awhile. I finally put a back on this precious little cabinet I bought a few months ago. I covered it with embossed wallpaper first ~ just to give it a little interest. Plus, I added a shelf too.

Now to figure out what little treasures I want to display inside :) ~

I hung a few more things up on the walls ~ they've been just laying around and it feels so good to finally have them up so I can enjoy them!

Some tiny shelves displayed with a few pincushions that I've made and one antique pincushion. And you know I love baby shoes, these sets I couldn't bear to turn into pincushions though.

The beautiful woman is my paternal grandmother who took the time to sew clothes for my dolls and always nurtured my creativity ~ She's been gone twenty years and I still miss her so ~

Little by little this room is getting a personality and I'm loving the way it "feels"!

I hope your week is going great and I wish you a wonderful Wednesday dear friends ~

Dreamy space! I love the way it feels just to look at it. I can't imagine so much room to spread out in. I hope to get back on track and put the finishing touches on my room so I can begin to show it on my blog.

Hi Dawn,
Love your room. Love the shelf. So many beautiful items. So many memories. I just finished a cabinet that I picked up at the thrift shop. I decided to decoupage it with images that I got from your web site and Cora's web site at Clearly Vintage. You are such an inspiration for me. Thank you for your tutorials and sharing your images. I purchased the Altered Composition Notebook tutorial a few days ago and can hardly wait to get started. I posted my cabinet project on my blog. Please come on over and take a look.
God bless,
Christina

The vignette on the shelf is lovely. Such a nice photo of your grandmother. I miss mine too, she taught me to knit and was a fabulous cook. I hope I am such a grandmother to my grandchildren.

I was very close to my paternal grandmother also, Dawn, and she was just the most wonderful grandma! I miss her a lot still, even though she passed away 30 years ago.
