I made this just for you sweet friends for my 1000th post giveaway prize!!
This artwork is very similar to a piece I recently created but much larger. It measures 11" x 14" and is created on a stretched canvas. I've covered it with wonderful old sheet music using my Liquitex Matte Gel Medium, then embellished with a favorite angel image framed by a page from an antique photo album. Old lace, ribbon and baubles finish it off. I even used my new pins!!! If you click the photo to enlarge, you'll see them holding the knots of the hanging ribbon ~

Oh how I love this! Everyone MUST click to enlarge! Do you sell a tutorial on this design? What is that material backing on it with all those beautiful scrolls? What a fantastic piece of art ;)
I'm first to comment because I'm up earlier than usual, my 4 yr. old grandson spent the night for the first time (anywhere)! We are so proud and excited he did it with not a tear or I want mommy and daddy ;) We had a little chatter falling to sleep and the last thing he said was "I love you grammie" and 1st thing he said this morning was "I had a good time grammie"! Just melts my heart! candice♥
