I've been busy!

Oh my goodness...the photo I showed you earlier in the week
of our Christmas tree was really quite pitiful!
I've been working on it all day today
and added tons of more ornaments ~ plus a a garland of tulle.
Tiny touches of color but mostly gold and vanilla.
Oh and by the way,
it's a 6-foot tree sitting on a round end table!
I will place the smaller gifts under the tree on the table and
the rest of the larger gifts will be under the table.....

And yes, the wall is still blank behind the tree.
I'm just going to have to take the plunge and start hanging things!

Recognize a few things?

I hope you're having a wonderful December weekend precious friends!
hugs and love,
Dawn

Oh Dawn your tree is sooo beautiful!! I just love it. I have never been able to take a picture of my tree without it looking like a shimmery blob.I'll try reading my manual and see if I can figure out what I'm doing wrong lol.

Your tree is oh so pretty! All of my house is done is white, silver, bluish green, burlap, etc...EXCEPT for my tree which is decorated exactly like my children want it. It is quite a contrast to the rest of my Christmas decor but it's okay because my kids are happy.

Dawn, I love your tree and I am so inspired now! I just finished putting together (argh!) and brand new tree I bought today. Yes, we use an artificial because it sits a mere 3 feet from our woodstove. This new one is just 6 feet and I was looking at it wondering if it can hold all the ornaments. Yours is proof positive for how many ornaments can fit! It is just stunning!! Yay, I'm excited to decorate it now!

Beautiful tree! I know how hard it is to take the plunge and hang stuff on the wall. I still have things just stacked against the wall but I am going to have to start hanging too!
