They know me well . . .

The other day Brad took Noah (middle son & youngest son)
to a state park nearby just to enjoy the beautiful
fall weather and get out of the house.
I always mention, "look for me some goodies while you're walking!"
just because they know what I love!

These are the treasures they returned with ~
beautiful art supplies...

I wanted to share some wonderful news with you!!!
Pam Carriker is writing her first book ~ Art at the Speed of Life...
and she asked me to be a contributing artist! How amazing is THAT???
She's started a blog to document her experience
creating the book if you'd like to take a look.
It's in the beginning stages so you can follow along!
There are many other contributing artists and
I'm so very honored to be among them ~
thank you so much Pam, you're an angel!

Wishing you a great Tuesday dear friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

Hi Dawn, I'am still amazed at all the things we have in common, yesterday I went walking on the trails of the kettle moraine and of course picked up birch bark, leaves and berries for my art projects. Also Our sweet Terrier Penny Pen Pen looks just like your Ellie. And our youngest Son also broke his femer/leg in a truck roll over about 10 years ago, thats not a very nice thing to have in common, but it happened, I'm glad our boys are fine and healthy now. Just thought I would share that with you. I just love all your art, You are so talented. Have a great day, Hugs, Carol

Dawn,
Oh, it is so heartwarming when the encouragers of life [you're one of those!] are blessed with their own doses of the same! Congratulations on being included in Pam's upcoming book. It will be fun following the progress of this journey.

Sweet story of your boys keeping their eyes peeled for their dear mother! I can't help but think that by modeling our own love and appreciation for the blessings and beauty of nature that we pass this joy unto our children.
Such a sweet gift to pass along!

Congratulations on being included in the Pam Carricker book! It's ever so lovely that your boys bring home treasure for you. Here in Canada it's illegal to take plants out of a park. For someone to strip moss, seed pod, etc from a park is kin to helping themselves to your flowerbed & furniture I think.
