Below are my basic instructions but feel free to embellish your boxes further when you are finished ~ and remember, you don't have to have fancy scrapbooking paper to complete this project. Use pages from an old book, old wrapping paper, wallpaper, etc. Enjoy creating these!!!

You can use this technique of covering a box inside and out with so many different product and food packaging ~ Embellish with images, pieces of old jewelry or whatever your heart desires! And the good thing? They can be used year after year ~

Dawn, you did it again! Now all of my bars of soap will be naked...lol I really think we have toooo many projects and not enough time. I adore this idea. But coming from the late owl I would expect this type of beauty.

I love this! I love being able to repurpose . . . well . . . anything! I saved bags of empty toilet paper tubes one year at C'mas to wrap small gifts, gift certificate, etc. Just wrapped them up like a "snapper". People loved that it was a toilet paper tube.

Thanks for the great idea! This would be a perfect size box to place a little homemade ornament in for hostess gifts or to put at each place setting for the holiday table. I will be using this idea. I think I will not use enough soap by then so I may open a bar and scan the box onto card stock for a template. Anyway, love it!

LOvin this !! I so love little box shapes == I open them up and make templates and save to my computer -- I too double the cradstock with spray glue -- to make it thick enough -- I made HUb laugh -- when he thought I was recycling -but I was saving boxes to wrap or cut up for stabllity Now all the scrappy friends save their backer boards for me from Paper stacks etc -- Kathy - ga --Too funny

This is a great idea and tutorial..I've often wondered what I could do with those little boxes as I dropped them in the trash basket! Now I know! Thanks.
Maybe you could give a little advice on using fabri-tac glue..I always have trouble with it..stringy and it doesn't stay where I put it!

This pretty box idea is really helpful, especially to someone like me who is new to working with papers (I don't even own any sray glue..thanks for letting us know where to buy it). I've just had a quick peek at your soap box project. It's a another real gem. You are such a talanted lady. It'sa great idea and looks sooooo pretty. I love your choice of papers too. I imagine that this idea could work with a number of similar style boxes in all manner of sizes. Could be dangerous though. Just think how many more bits to add to the save and use again stack (tee hee hee)!!!!!
