Company's a comin'!

I haven't been in the studio much today, or even on the computer!!
That's a switch isn't it??

What I have been doing is straightening, fluffing and sprucing up as my sweet friend Karin from One Perfect Little Miracle is coming over Friday for a little visit! I've made homemade chicken salad with my sweet husband's secret sauce, grapes, pecan pieces and celery bits. I'll serve it to Karin on tasty croissants with my spinach dip and crackers....and for dessert...
store bought cheesecake! Hey, I'm not perfect!!

I hope that we will have time to play in the studio and I'll have the camera handy so I can share our day with you ~ now....I'm off to bed as I can hardly walk....BTW cleaning BITES!

Wishing you an AMAZING Friday sweet friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

Yes, I hate cleaning, too, Dawn. Thankfully it was Halloween last month so the cobwebs fit right in! ; ) So exciting that you are having a friend over and your lunch sounds so yummy! Can't wait to see your pics!

Have a great day! I mentioned you on my blog because I finally got around to dressing up stuffies, as inspired by your 3 girl bears from over a year ago. I cant believe it took me that long to do it, as it was so much fun. More to do today!

I hope you have a fun day with Karin! Mmmm, lunch sounds yummy and yes, cleaning does bite. Speaking of which, I have to do just that today, supplies are starting to crawl all over the studio. I sure do make a mess when I play. Have a great weekend.

Hi Dawn!

Hope you had a wonderful visit with Karin. There's nothing like our special girlfriends!

I have to tell you I finished my first round of "snowguys". They are SO MUCH FUN! I did a quick blog entry with some photos here:

I can't remember the last time I had so much fun crafting. Thank you so much for introducing me to the world of paperclay! I think the possibilities are endless!

So glad I found you and all the wonderful artists at the artist class!

What a great holiday season this is going to be with so much creativity!

xoxo

Hi Dawn, I visit your blog often but rarely comment (shame on me). Just wanted to first of all tell you how much I enjoy your posts and your beautiful artwork. Loved reading about preparing for your friend. What would we do without them and spoiling them is simply a pleasure. Sure hope you are feeling better soon.
