I stayed up too late again, playing in the artroom ~ this is what I made before heading to bed. A small drawer assemblage with a sweet bird theme. This one features the most wonderful image that I have on a postcard, which I've scanned and printed. I know you've seen it before in my work. I still need to add a few more embellishments but wanted to show you the progress ~

I really like the autumnal colors of this new assemblage piece. The little birds remind me of those old bouncing ball cartoons, "Let's all sing like the birdies sing, tweet, tweet, tweet-tweet..." So sweet!
I came across a Water Babies book the other day in a flea market but it one that was done by Disney of the old Water Babies cartoon they made (You can view it on YouTube). It is in rough shape but the cover is so cute and so are the graphics in the book. If you would like it I can send it to you, just let me know.
