Dawn, Your drop cloth drapes are dreamy! They are perfect to cast that winter warmth of being enveloped in soft shawl. I like the addition of the ornamentation of the kitty! Great form of living art! So, how about a working vacation to Quill Cottage?
What a wonderful room! I love the coziness of the light and how it bounces off of your special and carefully displayed pieces. Fantastic! Your window reminds me a little of mine, except I don't have curtains. I have been really toying with the idea lately to make some pretty panels to hang.
Love the curtains! I also noticed your piece of stained glass. Beautiful. I have one I inherited from my mom that I'd been wondering what to do with. I just have to figure out how to hang it... it has a metal frame rather than wood.
I am loving those drop cloth curtains!!!!!!! What an awesome idea!! I would love to pull that off here at my house. You have to show me exactly how to do them though when I see you next, as I am not to handy when it comes to that kind of stuff. The house looks great, I love the living room too.
Dawn, looking at your photos - it's easy to see you are filled with creative passion and why your creations are so often featured in magazines.
Our B&N still does NOT have Somerset Life on the shelves! I'm almost ready to just order it from Stampington but wonder how long it will take to receive it via snail mail! Cannot wait to peek inside!
My name is Dawn Edmonson. I'm a wife for 42 years to the same wonderful man, mother to five amazing sons ranging in age from 40 to 25 years old and grandmother to three precious girls and two sweet boys.
I love to create one-of-a-kind artwork to sell in my Etsy shop. I enjoy keeping up with my blog and am amazed at the inspiration I get from others blogs and sweet comments that are left for me. I am drawn to all things old, with plenty of character and enjoy using small, antique trinkets in my artwork. Being able to create is truly my bliss.

Lovely things. I would love to have all that neat stuff.
Just lovely. Morning light filtering through the drapes - what a beautiful way to start the day.
