These are a few of my favorite things ~

Wednesday I did a few things around the house and started writing an article that's due Friday...eeek! It's progressing nicely but doesn't leave much time for creating new goodies. I strolled through my photographs to find some of my treasures to share with you.
You may remember some of these or maybe not, no matter...seeing these beautiful treasures again even inspires me by just looking at them!!

A gathering ~

Fairies ~

Rhinestones and lace ~

Antique papers and images ~

Old tattered books, antique buttons and keys ~

More antique lace ~

Birds, nests and speckled eggs ~

More tattered old books ~

More antique buttons on their original store card!

Uh, more old buttons, sorry, I'm a little obsessed here ~

Vintage baby dresses and doll clothes ~

Old sheet music ~

Wonderful old baby shoes ~

Antique embroidered linens and again, surprisingly...old lace!

Just looking at what I love to collect inspires me!! Pull those collections out, group them on a side table or hang them as a valance, drape them on your lampshades or sew them on your ready-made pillows, stack them by a lamp or nestle them onto your shelves....just so you can SEE these wonderful things that inspire you each and every day!

Wishing you a wonderful, inspired Thursday!

xxoo, Dawn

What a lovely collection of antique goodness! I have a handmade babydress with tatted lace on it that I found at an antique store. I should try to find it!

So much for my fairy name...Field Elfweb?? Sounds like a ball stadium with spiders and little elves hanging around in webs...quite a picture, eh? Fun thing to check out, though. Thanks.

Dawn,
You are one of my favorite things! It's so relaxing to bring my cup of coffee and visit your blog. The music, the content and your talent inspire me. It gives me a small vacation right in the middle of my day!

Don't you sometimes to just love to look at the things that make us feel wonderful inside?!? We don't need to do anything with them but "look" - some of life's best blessings ♥

Glad to have given you a giggle. I could have been a real daughter of Eve and blamed the whole fiasco on you for showing such a divine creation! Seriously, I think I am only getting one as I have not heard from Granny yet!

Gluttony, you horde, you gorge on material things. How big does your nest have to be, how big are you?
Pride in what you "have", envy of all others. Too bad.

What delightful treasures and it's great fun to see that yours are not the rubies and diamonds kind. We can take delight in the simple things.

I love the buttons! I don't think I have ever seen that many on an original button card.
I love many of the same things you love. Especially the old books and lace! Wow, so pretty..
