I can't get enough sweet, soft baby shoes ~

These are my favorite kind. Wonderful tiny ones with thin, soft leather. The leather warms when you start stuffing it and shapes so easily. I worked on three of these pincushions Thursday. I'm really pleased with how they turned out. One is a special order and the others will soon be in my Etsy shop. All of the items I've used are cast-offs. Old, unused things (except the ribbon) that have now been combined to form a precious keepsake. I'm working on a tutorial with photographs and step-by-step instructions on creating these too!!

And this photo is a little peek at something I've started working on - please ignore my poor hands in the photo . . . they take a beating but continue to be so good to me!

Elizabeth tagged me for a MeMe post on her blog Home Musings ~ well, I've been blogging for awhile now and had a post that I'd listed a few random things about myself. Whew! Here they are if you'd like to read them:

Can you believe it's Friday again? We have one more week off and it's back to school for the boys. I keep reminding them to enjoy each and every moment!

Wishing you a very happy Friday!!

I have a thing for baby shoes...
I saved all my kids first baby shoes and a few extra pairs that I could not part with.
I hang them on my Christmas tree every year.

Thanks for the sweet congratulations on the birth of our little DGD, Miss Anavah Grace.

Dawn, so early back to school! It must be very hot for the children. Up here in the "far north" of PA, it's usually around Labor Day.

I saved a pair of so very tiny red checked, very, very soft baby shoes that hang on our tree every year. Some things are just TOO precious to dispose of. I just recently gave my 2 daughters the receiving blankets I made for both of them.

The rest of my day today is play day! Work finished, decoupage, here I come!

They're going back in ONE week? What in the world is going on? I'd sure hate that!

Yay for a baby shoe tutorial. I've got my little circa 1900 black high-top baby shoe all set and ready...prolly will prove challenging with that high top.

What sweet little shoes! Would love to see your tutorial but need to find some little shoes first! I have mine but not sure I want to make them into a pin cushion. Mine are pink felt so they might not work the same as regular leather ones. I love visiting your blog...a daily must for me!

Miss Dawn, I just wanted to let you know that the verse printed on your sweet wall hanging really touched my heart today. You have been a channel through which the Spirit has spoken, my friend!

Mr Deb and I are currently seeking answers and formulating plans for something that we beleive we are being led to do... and this verse is confirmation of that. Thank you so much for sharing it here!
