We had the best time celebrating the Fourth of July! We went to dh's sister and her husband's house and swam in their pool, cooked barbecue chicken, enjoyed being together then finished the day with a beautiful show of fireworks on the lake in their pontoon boat ~ it truly was such a fun day!

Hi Dawn,
What a fun fabulous day you had with family! Love those night pictures of the fireworks! And those action shots at the pool are terrific!
It looks like a great day!
Guess what I did? I bought a baby shoe at a flea market for $1.50! I'm so excited. :D
Good morning Dawn and what a beautiful morning we are having here in Ioway. I watched the fireworks from my studio chair, bug free, what a grand sight to commemorate our freedom as a nation and hopefully we will have it for centuries to come.

Hi Dawn... You enjoyed life in the American Dream style ....I also enjoyed a very lovely day and have 2 more planned.....Living the time to it's fullest is what we all need to do and enjoy time with our friends and family while we are here to do so there are no regrets later when the opportunities are no longer there.... Have a great weekend....

Looks a grand day for you! Have a beautiful weekend, dear one~
That looked like a fun day Dawn - ours was definitely quiet, even the fireworks were postponed due to a thunderstorm just as it turned dark - sad for all the anxious kids!!
Just ran out to Borders and picked up a copy of July/Aug. Somerset Life - can't wait to enjoy it this evening after supper - can see I will love it and reading about you!
By the way, what do you use to stick papers to china please? There are so many adhesives out there and I never seem to have to right one for my projects. Your help would be so appreciated dear.
Enjoy this weekend and, as always, thanks for sharing your lovely creations - you make me happy.
Glad you had a happy 4th of July!!! xoxo
I love how July 4th activities bring families together. It looks like your's had great fun! :-)
Thanks for the kind words.
Yeah... It doesn't make sense.
We adopted these boys 13 years ago... and now they say Jeremiah can't be a U.S. citizen. Doesn't make sense.
They say he can apply again in 5 years... but he will have to take the test... won't be easy with his disabilities.
But, God gave me this boy... it must work out. What's Homeland Security compared to He who created the universe?
What a wonderful fireworks dispaly! And the boyzzz? Too Too cute!
Colleen
Fabulous photos of fireworks...you have a wonderful blog and I have bookmarked it to come back often xx
