That book is too wonderful! I've thought about getting one of the reproductions, but there is nothing like the original, huh? Really beautiful as is your art room!

Love the sweet lil' book. I was sitting in my 6th grade sewing class when Pres.Kennedy was shot...maybe that's why I don't like to sew...OR maybe it was that crabby ol'teacher with the really bad breath...I'd rather have my fingers in paint and leave the sewing to you gals. Such an inspiring workspace Dawn...and Vikki seems to be moving forward with her life without Dad, I hope you received an email from her.

Girl you have really been putting some great touches in your work room.. It sometimes a blessing how little nudges help us complete what we wanted to do... I may have to have one of the area farmers help give me a push...I am trying to decide where I want to locate a area besides on a table.... I think I am really looking at this point for a shabby table to build around. I just haven't found my starting piece only in my mind.... Precious book....
Think deep down I still have my heart set on a small building but I need to go to plan 2 or 3 real soon....

I love this book! It's one of the few things I have sold in the past that I'm kind of sorry about now.

Glad you had such a good time, sweetie. Your room looks great! Very organized and colorful.

Isn't that book fantastic? I think that it's time for a reprint for girls today. Little girls haven't changed all that much and I know many who'd love such a treasure. I know that I would've!

What a wonderful find!! I have been wanting to find a copy for many years, since I first saw it in a magazine... Victoria, maybe? I have seen reprints online. I must find myself one! I just love the happy little animated scissors and other sewing things and of course the gorgeous fairy. I also want the cooking one and all the others. I think there's a gardening one, too. Your studio is looking beautiful.
