Please be careful where you tread,
The fairies are about,
Last night when I had gone to bed,
I heard them creeping out.
And wouldn't it be a dreadful thing
To do a fairy harm?
To crush a little delicate wing,
Or bruise a tiny arm?
They're all about the place, I know,
So do be careful where you go.

Wonderful!! Do they clean up craft rooms while we sleep...no, I guess that would be elfs, which are not on duty right now. lol. Wonderful Poem! Laurie
I love the fairies!! And I love this poem too!!
They certainly are spinning their magic in my garden filled with blossoms! I will be so careful!
Such lovely fairies, and the poem is equally as nice. Karen
Lovely picture and poem! Just darling! My girls will love this!
I think I am going to have to share this with my girls.. we have a tree near our home that we say the fairies live in the bottom because it's got the perfect door size at the base of it by the roots.. my oldest, the dreamer, asked if they were home and my middle child, who is my realist said " you know that's for squirrels.." She's 3!
I keep thinking I am going to have to put a doll chars or something out there sometimes to spark thier imagination! Jen R
