I love sharing with you ~

I do.
It may not be much sometimes, but I do.
Stuff I've made, things I'm thinking of or maybe a few treasures found.
You always cheer me on and make me smile sweet friends!!!

I found a few goodies the other evening at w-mart and wanted you to see them.
First, I've had this fascination with succulents lately and want some.
I just hope, hope I can keep them alive and not drown them!
Here is my very first...found at w-mart for 8.88 ~
I simply love the glass jar it's in.
It reminds me of the old glass battery boxes!!!

Plus I came across this new magazine ~
I always loved, loved Country Home magazine and
it seems since they stopped making a monthy mag they STILL
will occasionally put out a gorgeous magazine.

Well, this is one of them and it is a KEEPER!
In my book anyway :)
There are no ads whatsoever inside
so really it's kind of like a soft cover book.
It's 12.99 but worth every single penny and you know I'm a miser!
I took a few photos to share with you but you really have
to go buy the issue to enjoy it. And this is not one you will toss out...
it's timeless.

Thank you all so much
for your sweet, sweet comments on my memory organizer!!
I think I may make a few more....

Wishing you a beautiful Tuesday dear friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

Love the pictures in that magazine, Dawn! I have a plane ride coming up next week and I may just have to pick that up to keep my mind occupied.

What's with the interest of succulents lately, I'm the same way.... I saw a wreath with little pots & I want to make that and fill it all up with different succulents ~ I will also have to pick up that Country Home, I miss that magazine, still like Country Living, but to me it is so filled with ads it gets frustrating.... Have a wonderful week, xox

You're going to sell a lot of magazines for them! This year I gave up all my magazine subscriptions...even ones that I have held for nearly three decades. I'm very fussy. One of the things I despise is the blatant political agenda I see throughout so many. I only care about decor and good tips. Thanks for this one! I will check it out. BTW, I saw nothing that cute at my Wal*Mart. ☺

Love your new plant and it's container - how awesome!

That magazine is a great recommendation - esp with no ADS - yuck- may have to splurge.

Big hugs!!

I love succulents too and really enjoy growing them outside. They spread well, need little water, and live through the winter here in NC, depending on the type. Good luck! I also loved Country Home and was upset when they stopped publishing monthly. I wish they would come back, as Victoria mag did. XO Sue

Dear Dawn, I've seen many faux succulents, I was tempted since my green thumb turns brown with succulent plants. I am old enough to remember the last time succulents were so popular in the 70's, as well as all house plants. Many in macrame hangers. ;-) I also loved Country Home, and Country Living is the only magazine that is a must have for me. I love when you share... Love, Penny

When you start your magic creating something it's like we have tucked up a chair beside and watch quietly, enjoying the process with you : ). Thanks for sharing. Patty/BC

Hey Dawn-
I bought a bunch of succulents the other day too. Just wanted to warn you- That container doesn't have holes so be careful of overwatering. Succulents by their nature do not need alot of water. Joy

Hi Dawn!
Love the pretty plant in the glass cube, I can't believe it's WM! And a special Country Home--I must...it was my all-time favorite mag, I knew the editor, and I miss it. Whew, I'm all excited now! Thanks for sharing.
Hugs,
Sherry
