I've just got to share this with you ~

Remember my sweet friend Tammy who created the beautiful floral arrangements in the vintage baby planters....as a gift for the baby shower??? Well, Tammy stopped by today with a gift for Emily, Brent and baby Clara ~ just look at this GORGEOUS shadowbox that she made!!!!!

She wrote Clara's name out of RIBBON!!! We are all in awe of this sweet gift ~ and she even added a precious little nest created from white yarn ~ please click to enlarge and see all of the detail!!! She's thinking of selling these at her shop (she owns One Rose Florist in Jonesboro, Georgia) and taking orders for them. I could even see one created as a monogram for a wedding gift!!!! If you'd like her to give you a quote, send her an email to tcottrell@charter.net ~

Thank you so much Tammy, it's just beautiful!

We had hail today in Georgia!!! But thank goodness no tornadoes or anything like that. Just tons of rain and about five minutes of hail ~

Sweet Clara today, just dozing in her uncle's arms.....and then it seems she's dreaming of something funny!!! I just love those in-between light and deep sleep smiles!! (Sorry the pictures are a little fuzzy :)

As soon as I saw her, I recognized her.
She was the baby from my dreams.
She looked straight at me with her new, deep blue eyes
And for a moment I saw recognition there:
She had dreamt of me, too.

Wishing you a peaceful, relaxing Sunday sweet friends ~

What a lovely gift - something to be treasured for many years to come - and thanks for forwarding your friend's e-mail - I have a couple of wedding gifts to purchase and will contact her for a quote - seeing the hail reminded me of the years I spent in Atlanta - hail and ice storms - crazy - btw I graduated undergrad from Ga. State University in Atlanta and taught for a few years in the inner city there - take care - Reva (Los Angeles)

Hi Dawn,
You are being the typical grandma snapping away with the camera. My mother walked around everywhere with hers when my children were born. Thank goodness because as a new mom I was so tired I probably would have missed the first six weeks. lol
What precious pictures you are capturing of your little sweetie.
What a lovely gift too. I zoomed in and the details were just like you said. Beautiful!
Hugs

I can't get over how alert Clara is (when she's awake :) ) I know when Charlie was born, I just couldn't stop looking at him! You are so lucky to leve close by. Charlie is 5 hours away so we only get to see him every 6-8 weeks. Cherish your time. Cheryl's poem is so sweet.

Clara is a sweetie, catching the little expressions will be so nice to look back on down the road. What a sweet gift too. She does beautiful work. I love the surprises of the spring, great shot of the hail in the trees. We got caught on the road last evening in the hail, lucky it was pea size...I have never seen anything larger myself...but they say it gets giant. It is 20 degrees cooler today, spring is a roller coaster ride, I love it.
Blessings in your Sunday Miz Dawn.

I will definitely keep Tammy in mind. My only child is on the verge of becoming engaged...

Clara is SOOOOO precious. I remember (from 22 years ago) those "sleeping/dreaming" smiles. It must be wonderful to relive all that again with a child from your child...

What a beautiful gift from Tammy. And what a beautiful child Clara is! She is very content because she can feel enormous love around her.

Glad your storm passed quickly. We had a snowstorm Friday and Saturday and received between 28 and 30 inches in our little town!! We are paralized!

I don't know which to comment on first, baby Clara, and her sweet dreams smile, or Tammy's wonderful gift!
Our 3 month old granddaughter is starting to laugh! and soon Clara will be too. They change so fast. Don't blink an eye.
