And what if . . .

You pressed your botanicals, placed them on beautiful natural cotton batting and scanned them to use over and over again?
Please feel free to use my scan below if you'd like :) Click to enlarge to see detail ~

The beautiful image below is from a wonderful website French Gardening.com ~ you'll love taking a look around...

Nature's beauty is true artwork from God's own hands ~

Dawn,
Placing those on fabric and scanning them is a great idea.

I need to refresh myself with that tutorial you did putting pics on fabric and do some of those. I've found some things i think would really be cute doing that.

Blessings on your day, and thank you for sharing.

I love to scan flattened flowers after a bad experience of trying to dry them between phone book pages one year... Much neater (and easier ) to save and use scanned images.

hi dawn,

what a sweet idea. i just remembered that when i was little, i used to love to press flowers -- probably pretty weeds -- but it would be so fun to see them flattened but still colorful and pretty. i had a whole shoebox full.

thanks for triggering that memory!

Dear Dawn, The site is great. I'm glad that I don' have to grow them anymore to enjoy the pictures. My friend, Jade and I were asked to teach a class on Herb Gardening several years ago. It became an obsession to find and grow everything we could. What did we learn you might ask!?! Never, ever plant Comfrey unless you want to have it forever! My kids called it "the plant from h_ _ _!" After several years of having to go dig it out and having grow right back LOL. I think that tap root goes clear to the center of the earth.
