Two little sweeties ~

I scanned these two precious photos that I found while antiquing the other day....I hope that you can use them in some way ~ I love both of their sweet faces!

They'd be cute turned into this: (don't you think Kathy? She purchased this one from me)

A couple of lamp shades I made a while back....I never really showed them here but thought I would now ~ they're lamp shade frames, spray painted cream then I used scraps of beautiful old lace to cover them....just layered and stitched here and there ~ adorned with vintage buttons and jewelry.

Boy, you blink and it's Friday again, isn't it? I hope you've been able to be creative lately....try to take a little time to nurture your creative spirit!

Wishing you a wonderful day sweet friends ~

xxoo, Dawn

Wonderful baby photos...I'm glad that you rescue so many to use.

Wonderful lampshades...so romantic and beautiful.

Fridays are whizzing by so fast that I almost lose track of time. Who am I kidding? I often ask what day this is. Scary.

Hi Dawn,
Thank you for sharing the little photos, soo cute. You are so generous with all your prints and pictures! Also the lamp shades are beautiful!! I think I may try a few myself. A day without creating is missing something wonderful. Don't you agree? Have a great weekend. Linda

Thank You for the beautiful vintage photos. These are really unique because both babies have PERFECT catchlights in their eyes -something that is very, very rare in vintage portraits! I always love to use them in my gift tags so thank you!!! Love the lampshades as well! :0)

Oh- and one more thing!! I am encouraging all of my favorite bloggers to get a sitemeter or blogpatrol on their site. You may already have one, but I didn't see one anywhere. I would also alter your copyright to exclude visitors from taking all personal pictures, especially of your sweet grandbaby! Also please include a watermark on all of her pictures(you can do this in photoshop 7.) This really probably isn't my place, but sadly there are really scary people out there. A mother I know just had her blog pictures of her children stolen for the second time. I too have had suspicious activity from an ugly site and had to take my blogs private. Anyway, I don't want to place fear! I love your blog and I would hate to have someone abuse your kindness. Again, I know we don't know eachother, but we mothers have got to stick together!! :0)

You did good too, girlfriend!

I love the lamp shades. I love old lamps, so this would be something I might try.
Thank you for the pictures, I know they will be used by someone somewhere.
When you get a minute, come see the display I made of the Teddy Bear Tea Party. I made so many things that my hands hurt. This is just a example of what I did...200 coming to this Tea... but I am done with this part.
Now to decorated the Hall...that will be fun.
Hugs, Mary
