A little something new finally!

I finished my new memory organizer!!!

I love this beautiful old fabric so very much
and truthfully I have hoarded it

for years and years!

But it was time to make something wonderful out of it.

You simply can't take this stuff with you so I may as well use it, right?!

Each pocket is pleated so you can shove more goodness

in each and every one!!!!

Just listed in my Etsy store....

And now I will go cry myself to sleep as right after I took this photograph

I dropped my precious
(albeit very old but I didn't care because I loved it so)
camera and it is ruined.

Anyway...

I'm sure I'll figure something out but in the mean time
my eyes will be the size of golf balls
should you see me about town...

The goodness of knowing....

Knowing what you ask?

That life exists beyond the realm of the internet

and that you understand!

Now please don't take me wrong...

I love my blog...

I'm so loving Facebook...

and of course loving the friends that

I've made along the way having my blog

BUT

for so long I've been terrified that I would lose you.

I'm just one of those Type A uptight folks

that would think that!

Anyway....

It warms my heart that you don't mind if I don't post

each and every single day ~

That you understand when things around here

get terribly busy and when life is just overwhelming.

Thank you for that...and for always cheering me on!!!!

I'm working on a new organizer too!

In my little corner of the world ~

We are finally finishing up a ton of egg soap orders!!

I know I keep saying that, but it really was a ton.

I'm hoping to get back into the studio today too...

even if only to make a few tiny things to satisfy

my artistic muse.

I took a few photos of our grandbabies Clara and Murray

this past Saturday and just had to share them with you.

They are both growing up so very fast!

Clara is SO excited about Halloween this year too!!

Funny thing is, I think she's going to be a pirate :)

She'll make a beautiful little pirate ~

Little Murray fell asleep on my chest...

nothing's more precious than holding them while they rest.

My thoughts are turning to Christmas and I need to think of something new to make!

Seems like these days with Pinterest and Google, most things have been done :)

But maybe I can at least make something and put my spin on it.

The wonderfulness of fall ~

I can't help myself ~ I love it!!!!

Fall or Autumn - whatever you may call it, it is precious to me.

The weather is cool, sunny and so gorgeous here in Georgia!

Tonight we are having the chilliest night yet and I'm worried as all get out ~

Noah has a camp out with his youth group and I'm just SO hoping

that he is warm enough with all clothes he took.

A fifteen year old seems to think they are the expert, you know!

Been there, done that...what me???

Only FOUR times before :)

They will learn as they go, right?

Well....

I just want to avoid a trip to the doctor!

Down the rabbit hole ~

Hello sweet friends!

I'm so sorry I've been a little absent lately ~

Absent from blogging, from creating and

from visiting other's blogs that I love and admire.

Seems I've been down a soapy rabbit hole and

am trying to dig my way out!

I am so very thankful for all of our recent orders

and have been telling myself that making soap

really is a creative thing too!!

But I know that there are only so many posts

that you want to see of our little egg soaps.

Hopefully I will get back to making other

pretty things soon!

These precious days ~

Sometimes we tend to rush through our days...

being so very busy.

There is always so much to do, to get accomplished!

As I grow older I realize how very precious

each and every day is.

They are flying by faster and faster!!!

It may look like you should shove shoes inside of it, but no.

The pockets are meant to hold treasures and precious goodies

that you love and want to see each and every day ~

Making pretty things ~

I've started working on a special order (months old) and am finally getting it finished!

Remember the memory organizer I made filled with pockets?

Well, I've had a friend wanting one and it was so difficult to make

that I have put it off for months!

But I finally started it and am

I'm in the middle of it now and hoping so much that it

turns out good and that she loves it.

My new lamp and it's rogue shade (I don't care)

and one of my work tables filled with recent

magazine treasures. I still haven't even looked at them all!!

More of the work table...

The sewing machine just waiting for me to get this project finished!!!

A thankful heart ~

We really have been so very busy around here!

Soap orders have been piling in and

I am so very thankful but they do pull me away

from my other endeavors you know.

I have to share with you a sweet photo of our robin's egg blue soap

that is packaged in a glass apothecary jar ~

ALL we did was create soap this past weekend,

then clean it and package it up for mailing.

I really should have taken a photo of it before I boxed it all ~
it was just so beautiful!

I hit the thrift store yesterday and just LOOK

at the GORGEOUS lamp I found!!!

Don't look at the shade that it came with

as I will change that,

but don't you love the lamp itself????

You know I am so, so stingy now when it comes to buying magazines, right?
