A precious parcel arrived from France today!
Gifts from my dear friend Suey filled with yummy old French ephemera....
Of course you know I have to share with you, right?
Just look at the sweet gifts!!! Su so knows what I love!
We've been friends for several years now through my blog ~
she calls me regularly and it's free for her too!!!
She's originally from England and now lives in France with her family.
I've so loved corresponding with her through my blog, emails and telephone calls.
Su makes gorgeous cards and teaches classes in France too!
She sent me a fountain pen because I told her I'd love to practice my penmanship!
Plus a few nests that will look so beautiful on our Christmas tree this year!
Look at this precious ATC she made me using an image I'd posted.....
The precious kid leather gloves she sent
look a little like angel wings when placed this way...
don't you think?

What beautiful things from France and so wonderful to have a friend from there...When I worked at the bank I had a customer from France and some of the handwriting on some of those papers reminds me of her beautiful handwriting. Thank you Dawn for sharing with us.....

What a great friend to have in such a wonderful country full of tons of fantastic ephemera!!!! And how lovely of you to share some of it! Many thanks! I only took a couple of pictures, (didn't want to be greedy, LOL). And you're right, the vintage gloves do look like bird wings, or angel,:) Love the piece that you're currently assembling, I can see that it's going to be another one of my favourites of yours! Cheers to you Dawn! What a lucky woman you are to have so many around the world thinking of you! ox
What a precious collection! Beautiful French pieces, and no doubt you will turn them into something totally fabulous.
Parcels from France are the BEST, aren't they?
Lovely ephemera, you are so sweet to share with us. Now, you've inspired me again to dig through mine.
DROOL! Lot's of Drool! Gorgeous goodies all! Thanks for sharing! Hugs Dawn!
What a thoughtful and wonderful friend to have! I can't wait to see your creations. I love found object collage and assemblages - partly because they remind me of how Christ takes us and reworks us and makes us beautiful.

That's a package that would have caused me to do the happy dance! Beautiful!!! Thanks so much for sharing. I've been looking for some great vintage images for Green Paper's gluebook swap, and you provided me with some today! Thank you!
I hear ya sister, my bikini days are way back in my life. I don't even dare wear a regular swimming suit, let alone a bikini!
Your new project looks intriguing. I'm still loving my Prairie Girl. I polished her up a bit the other day. It gives the wax more of a sheen. Just use a soft clean cloth to buff it up a bit.
Ohhhh what a great package- and thanks so much for the scans- I'm going to save to my "From Dawn" folder right away. You're so generous to share all your great images!
