Starting small can get the ideas flowing!

How wonderful is this crow image?!
Perfect to use in your Halloween projects....
(remember to click my scans twice before saving them!)

An owl mama and babies...

A sweet little bird image for you too ~

I found these wonderful farm images from an old child's book:

I started a few lavender sachets finally!
I love working with canvas/drop cloth fabric.

Pulling out gorgeous old lace pieces...
laying them on the fabric, moving them around to see
the placement I like best.

I've added a few pieces of antique lace to these....
now to add beautiful old buttons and maybe watch faces??
Then....the lavender!

Most of the time, if I'll start something small it will lead to creating more!!
I hope to have these sweeties in my Etsy shop soon....
And don't worry Joy, I'm working on your nature journal too xxoo ~

Have a great Thursday precious friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

beautiful!
That fabric almost looks thick like cotton duct or something. Does that work well for sachets??

Love those seam binding crinkly fluffs you put on things. Wish I knew the secret for making them. Mine do not turn out well.

I just recently discovered all the wonderful things that can be done with drop cloths! I have made curtains, pillows and even seat covers for my jeep from them! But your lavender sachets are so much prettier!

Oh, and I've only been using my canvas drop cloth to cover the birds' cage at night ... I think the birdies need a new blanket, so I can sew something pretty! :D
Thanks for the inspiration.
