Blogger problems? What I've discovered ~

So, I've noticed the Blogger issues lately, have you?
We all take for granted this wonderful blog land we are a part of, don't we?
I miss comments from you and
missed being able to comment on your blogs as well!

I researched a little and found something that has helped me just a little ~
When you are on your internet browser
(it could be Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer or whatever)
these programs try to remember all of the places you've been.
Do you know when you start typing in a blog name
and it fills in the rest of the info for you?
That's the memory or history that it remembers for you.

When you have just opened your web browser,
go to the very top of the page.
Look for anything that says "tools" or "history"
What you want to find is a place where it asks you to delete all of your history.
The history is all the websites you visited....and it remembers A LOT!
Don't worry, you're not deleting anything on your computer itself,
just all of the places you've visited and their web addresses.
Delete them all....it seems to working better now :)

Blogger is still having issues but this has helped me just a little!!!
I hope it helps you ~

hugs and love,
Dawn

Oh yes, B does seem to be having issues lately.

re clearing history: I do it every night before shutting comp down. Not only keeps files cleaned out so there is quicker response, but you are not leaving info on there for someone else to find should you be hacked, or spammed.
good tip Dawn.

Interesting...I'll try it. It has been a frustrating week not being able to comment or receive comments and catch up with everyone. I hope this finds you well, Dawn. Love the images you shared. Have a safe Memorial Day weekend. xoxo

Good post Dawn, it's called clearing your cache and a lot of people don't realize they should do this on a regular basis, at least once a week or more if they go to a lot of places on the net.

I was having blog issue when they shut down for a time. When my blog reappeared, my latest post was not on my blog. I found it under drafts and it had reverted back to an unedited copy. Happily, the post was also on my Facebook. However, when I copy and pasted it into my blog's editing window, formatting was a couple hours of nightmares.

You are so right that we take this technology for granted. We forget that it takes a lot of manpower to keep us up and running — and for free!

Thanks for sharing,
KJ

Even deleting the history didn't work for me, but I switched from IE to Firefox and it works now!. And remember, you can have more than one browser. I have both IE and Firefox on my desktop. I have to use IE for my work (my transcription software doesn't work with Firefox).

Thanks for the lovely pics! For the same reasons someone suggested switching form IE to another, I did ...google chrome ... no problems since. They suggested I clear my history daily and also taught me to perform the "disk clean up" function on my laptop, that really helped. E

Cleared the history, but as of today all my followers are missing - no little pictures and even though the dasahboard says they're there, when I click on them - empty. Really, I've only been at this three months - but I've got 18 followers and don't know how to find them again! Anybody have this issue ever? I'm on blogspot.

Well, after I post a comment to you about losing followers, I go back to my site and there they all are. Playing hide and seek with them all morning - now feeling silly for complaining. Joy to you, milady!

Spoke too soon - lost the followers again - whatsup with that? Too novice to know. Any advice?
