Hi dearest Dawn- I love the picture from Brad- so beautiful- and like you I could cover every bit of wall in my home--but my husbond likes a little wall to be seen, hi,hi-
Thankyou sweetie, for the wonderful images-does not matter if I saw them before I enjoy your freebies so very much my dear friend.
Love and hugs,-Dorthe
I think I scared my beloved yesterday when he asked me if I didn't think the restaurant where we were dining was "over decorated." Nooo, I didn't, not at all. In fact, I was trying to figure out how I could accomplish the look at home. ☺
Your new painting is lovely. (You can be on the look out for a different frame. It works for now.) And that little girl with the full dress...oh she's so darling.
I not only have filled up every wall with needlework, old china platters and vintage photos, in the space between I use calligraphy and write my favorite sayings and quotes directly on the walls... I'm sure it is cluttered to others but it is comforting to me.... Gerry K.
Dawn, I love your blog and I Am going to put your button on mine also!
Smiles, Cyndi
Dawn, love love love the painting! Who cares about the frame for now? And the images: the first one is just beautiful. The third one down - is that a Waterhouse? I love his work. And the baby is just precious. Thank you for sharing your work and your life with all of us and for your generosity in posting these fabulous images!
This is as you know a beautiful painting. I would find a place for it. I do not have a lot of wall space. I have a lot of windows and that is really good. My daughter Jenny uses her walls so perfectly, each seems to have it's own story. I love all the picture, thank you Dear Dawn. Hugs, Mary
I just love your idea....my walls are filled with lovely old dishes, quilts, watercolor prints, and anything that I love. I am home so much, and enjoy looking at all my lovely things. It is a constant source of inspiration to do my cards.
Your picture is beautiful!
Joy to you, Dawn! I found your blog through Sandy Babb's and was immediately drawn to this post's title. My walls are totally filled - like puzzle pieces the way I like to arrange things. I change them out for seasons. I have always felt that my house was a large canvas and that decorating was a great painting I lived within. Always loving inspiration from kindred spirits in this way. I'll be adding your blog to mine at www.thewritersreverie.blogspot.com - Hope you'll stop by and visit my writer's world where storytelling and drama take center stage.
