My antique sweet boy photograph doesn't have much to do with bird's nests
except that my boys are always so good about finding me
abandoned nests to display in our home.
Don't you think he's beautiful?

a beautiful collection of bird nests
that I've collected over the years.
I love SEEING these wonderful creations ~
Maybe they would look good in cubbies or shadow boxes....

Oh Brent did a wonderful job finding that one! I always place my found nests in a plastic bag, spray them with bug spray, and seal them up. I imagine after the winter you folks had, no little mites are still in there. I can tell that you're thinking of display possibilities...looking forward to it.

Hi dear sweet Dawn,
what a beautiful nest your son Brent found for you. I received two nests like yours last fall as our city had to trim many of the trees in our street. I was really happy they didn't end up in the "crusher". Thank you for all the lovely nest pictures. You really do like them.

Nests are so precious...amazing HOW THEY know how to build one of these for the first time... (does they mother show them )....GOD must whisper in their little ears.

Dear Dawn...You must have been peeking into my nest as I have been looking for sheet music about birds or nest or something related to use in a vignette for my bathroom! You just keep on giving...after winning your giveaway and your sweet egg canvas I have been "gathering" to get it completed! I promise to share a pic whenever I get it completed! I have a large stoneware looking vase that I display sometimes with seasonal branches and I love to tuck in my birdie nests. I have a few other nest vignettes I do to...someday I will try to get some pics to share. How wide is your mantel over which Bucky is displayed? I have a few ideas!
