LONDON TAN is perfect!

If you should order a roll (or two)....

Great post. The seam binding looks like vintage ribbon in the photos. There are a lot of possibilities for the bookmarks too.

Very pretty, Dawn! Thanks for the tip on the color for Fall; I'm sure I will be looking for rusts/coppers, etc. Love those bookmarks. My thought was feathers sandwiched between. I will have to go check out her post as I have actually been keeping some things on the side that I thought would make good bookmarks.

Hey Sweetie,
I just ordered fig & havana, of course I told Jeff you sent me! You are saving all of us a ton of money buying this yummy stuff by the 100 yard roll vs. 3 yards for $7 on etsy. LOL That tutorial is amazing! I know why you love it! I'll be trying it soon. Lisa

Thank you for sharing, I will go take a peek. So how is Dawn? I haven't been getting around much in Ole Blogland. Summer is so busy. And I am still trying to learn how to use this new computer. I am still fighting the battle to lose more weight, it is slow. But I feel better and that is worth so much.
I am glad you like the little cottages. They are fun. Life is good, hugs, Mary

Hi Dawn,
I am so happy you enjoyed my tutorial, and yes, you can do lots of creative things with the wax paper and glue, I hope everyone get's inspired, thanks for sharing with your readers:)

I am also a fan of Zipperstop, I found them on Ebay a couple of years ago. I used Havana on the bookmarks shown here, I think so far it is my favorite shade, I seem to use it a lot. They ship so fast too, even to Canada it only takes a few days, I don't know how they do that LOL

I love Zipperstop too Dawn, I discovered them a few years back. They have such a wide range of colors to choose from. I enjoyed your description of the colors. I'm sure you described them more accurately then the name that appears on them!
Have a great Monday!

I have not been there yet! Guess where I will be searching through? Thanks for the great look at the colors.

Beautiful seam binding--it looks almost like silk ribbon, and the colors are wonderful! Lynn's bookmarks are precious--thank you for sharing!

I love Zipperstop, too. I think I figured that if you buy in bulk to save on shipping, its about 8 cents a yard- you can be very extravegent with your wrapping at that price. I think my current favorites colors are champagne and havana- but after seeing your colors, I might have to order some of the rose beige and fig beige and eggshell and oatmeal.....

Oh Dawn, I ordered their color chart
and love all the colors...although
the small samples are a little difficult
to figure out. I'm so glad you have
given us your take on the colors. I've
ordered some of the very same colors that
you have. Do you have a pretty green?? I
haven't been able to decide on one yet
because there are so many that are so close
in shade.
Thanks for the tutorial.

I fell in love with this seam binding after I bought a roll from your shop a while back. Thanks for clarifying the colors. I ordered some that was not exactly what I wanted but I did an over dye to get the right shade. Thanks for the lovely tutorial link, I am going to give it a try. Have a great week!
