Time for a little inspiration...

We took a field trip this past Saturday!
You know I LOVE junkin' but this was a little more like 'tiquin',
that's what Noah called it when he was little :)
We drove to Madison, Georgia to check out their antique stores ~
Here are a few glimpses of things that caught my eye....

See the sweet little ballet slippers? Yep, mine now :)
And I SO drooled over the tiny wash stand!

Do you think I could use these babies in some artwork?

This girl was about 80 dollars, had a bad eye but I still thought she was wonderful ~

I am SO in love with these colors:

This old leather chair was INCREDIBLE!

The old homes were so beautiful. I barely got a photo of this one going 45 miles an hour!!

And what did I end up with besides the precious ballet shoes?
THIS GORGEOUS BABY ENSEMBLE!!!!!
My hubby bought it for me....thank you so much sweetie ~
So what will I do with it?
Simply gaze at it's wonderfulness.....

I'm helping out at the soap shop again this week,
things are really hopping now!!!!

Wishing you a wonderful Monday precious friends ~
hugs and love,
Dawn

Having a hard time posting today. Your baby clothes are so sweet..and yes, if we only simply wish to look at them... and APPRECIATE them...that is reason enough to have them.

Found some DELICIOUS beaded trim the other day..and I WILL HAVE IT HERE IH MY HOME soon..I just need to figure out where to put it..and how much of it to buy. JUST TO ENJOY !!!!

So many wonderful things to look at on your recent trip..I would have a really hard time deciding on what to take home or not.
Was the leather chair comfortable..sure looked like it would be.

Oh how I love shopping in Madison! There are some really good shops there! Some of my favorite items in my house came from the one on the back street off the square. Can't think of the name, but you were there:)

Have a blessed day and thanks for sharing these beauties. Makes me wanna go shopping:)

Thank you for the inspiring field trip. Of all the things in the photos the little carved hands on the tray would have been my choice items. I also got a great idea of how to use a basket I have that is just like one in the photo, thank you for that. Happy soap making!

Thank you for sharing your "'tiqin' "(what a cute word) with us. Your shops are quite a bit more sophisticated than the ones I frequent.

Your hubby knows you well...who else would get a baby ensemble as a gift? Makes me grin.

We don't have many great antique shops/centers near us, so thanks so much for taking me to visit yours! It was a wonderful seeing all the beautiful things. Your purchases were sweet and I saw several things that would have been going home with me! What fun!!

Dawn! The next time you are that close to me... CALL!!! I will take you to our wonderful little stores in Monroe and Social Circle! There is a little turquoise metal pot holder that looks JUST like the one I had for sale at Vintage Village. Could it have moved from Snellville to Madison?? LOL
Love your purchases!

Hey Sweetie,
Wow, what a post! Talk about eye candy, damn. Too many beautiful things to even mention. Okay, I'll try. 1. The beautiful collar box & glove box. I so would have found a credit card with a little room for those. 2. That dress on the boodie doll is amazing. I'll ditch that crazy looking doll tho. 3. those chairs, you know which ones I'm talking about. I'd have to slip Kevin a mickey & sneak them in while he's passed out on the couch. Oh next time bring me! Dennis did good, he knows how to keep his woman happy! Lisa

OMG, I guess I'd better get over to Madison, those are some wonderful things. Do you have any idea how much that multiple drawer in-the-round antique chest was? I probably don't even want to know, but would that not be perfect for a craft room???? WOW. QueenMarcy
