I love this photo....scanned just for you :)
Seems to be a brother and sister ~ don't you think?
Of course the props are a little goofy to me.
"Yes, I'll sit in the window and you can sit outside on a twig stool!
OH, and remember not to smile..."
Have a wonderful Thursday precious friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

That is so funny. She doesn't look very comfortable.
Yes brother and sister, no doubt, it's a beautiful picture.
For them it was clearly a serious matter.
Have a nice weekend
Hermine
They could possibly be twins, don't you think? The poor girl looks bored out of her mind!
I'm snagging it anyway! Some things transcend twig stools and sitting in windows. Ha! Truly, I had not noticed this until you mentioned it.
Wonderful photo, Dawn! Reminds me of one I have of my husbands great-grandmother and her twin sister from about the same time...I'll have to share that one soon.
Thanks for sharing it with us!
Hope you're having a wonderful day!
Julie

Hugs,
Marie
The poor dears do look awfully serious, they seem to be looking at different points, perhaps to where they were wishing to be rather than where they were.
Dawn dearest, had to laughf of your comment to this photo, yes indeed a bit funny, and a bit -settled?- but they are great ,anyway, the two very seriously kids,-thanks for sharing dear, and ----hope you are having a wonderfull and bussy week, with the soaps, and the family, sweetie.
Love and hugs,Dorthe
Don'cha just love that bow stuck on her head?! Thank you for making me giggle this evening, x
I love the photo, especially because the girl has the most perfect bow in her hair. Evidently the phrase "Say Cheese" was not invented until the 1920's.......
by the looks of it he had no choice, but to sit in the window. there only seems to be enough room for her and her bow on that chair and in th are around the chair.
blessings,
aimee
I love her bow! A darling pic, thank you so much!!
I have a whole collection of old photos of little girls with bows bigger than their heads. Seriously!
This one will make a GREAT addition to the collection. :-)
Dawn, this really is a sweet image, and I love your take on the props! You reckon she lost the coin toss about who sits where? Thanks for sharing. ~ Angela
