Nuturing creativity ~

A sweet image for you with wonderful text as well:

My dear friend Dawn let her daughter Sarah come over for an evening of creating last night! Sarah had an accordian book that she wanted to embellish
so I pulled out a few things for her to play with and she just took off!!!

I loved seeing how she was so sure of herself ~
her paper choices, buttons and images.
Her book turned out so beautiful ~ I took a few photos to share with you.....

As an artist it's important to look through your stash, try different things,
and then be confident in the decision that you finally ended up with.
Don't stress over your decision, as it's not a life or death thing.....
we all learn from mistakes in our art journey ~
what matters is that you play, experiment and try.....
to create something beautiful!

Wishing you a wonderful, creative Wednesday sweet friends!!
hugs and love,
Dawn

Sarah is a lucky girl! She will treasure that time spent in your studio everytime she looks at her creation. Thank you so much for the daisy page sweetie!!!!!!! It's my Mother's nickname and I know that I will be using it for something special for her:) Your photos are wonderful and your place to create is nothing short of magical. Love You! Jamie

The book turned out wonderful! Can't you just imagine little Clara in there one day creating away beside you? Indeed it is important to nurture the gift of creativity. Have a sweet day Dawn.

Hi Miz Dawn,
Thanks for sharing the Daisy image, and the sweet time with a budding young artist. Thats what its all about for a teacher, and being in your sacred space could only give birth to creativity.

So wonderful to share whatever the Lord has given us, whether it be little trims and trinkets, or what we have learned.

Yes, so many things are more about the process and not the product. I need to remember that more often. Sarah's accordion book turned out beautifully!

Dawn, How very sweet of you to help her do that little book. And it turned out so well!!!! Looks like she loved being in a true Art Studio but, who wouldn't love being in yours! I did a post about Lisa today. She is such a big FAN of yours!!!!! Even before she started blogging we talked abou what a sweet sharing soul you are. Know that you are loved. Have a good week.

I think that is so wonderful that at this young age Sarah is interested in expressing herself through art! The color palette as well as the images all look beautiful together. How fun for you to get to share your new, wonderful studio with someone else for a spell.
