Bird prints to share ~

When I'm out looking for treasures....I've always look for something beautiful that I can scan and share with you. I found these bird prints at a wonderful antique store that I used to sell my wares in ~ Antique Griffin.....I still love going and digging for things to create with ~

I also found this GORGEOUS pastoral's tattered and so very old ~ I'm not sure where to hang it yet but it was on sale and had to come home with me! I'm sorry for all the reflections ~

A tiny little drawer perfect for an assemblage ~

And lace ~ gorgeous ecru lace....

My sweet friend Dawn bought these two gathering baskets for me, I think they will be beautiful used as a backdrop for an assemblage as well!

I've been sprucing and straightening and am about ready to take a few photos of the studio. Here's a glimpse at something after I had just started (I'm now finished with it).....
an ever-changing framed gathering of beautiful things ~ I used my new clips (Thank you Kathy!) and those cool pins from Michael's ~

I hope that you have a wonderful Thursday dear friends,
hugs and love,

I'm with you on the pastoral print...there is "something" about them. Perhaps that is why they have stood the test of time in terms of never going out of style? The frame alone on this one would have warranted the "temptation-to-purchase-meter" to spike quickly...don't ya think?

Looking forward to seeing the unveiling of your new wonderful studio tomorrow!

Snagged the first bird print and may be popping it into my window instead of one that doesn't show so well. Have I ever told you how much I love it that you don't paint all your frames white? There's something wonderful about that old wood.

Dawn: I adore the pastoral illustratiion and in such a lovely little frame. As a woman with several spinning wheels, these are the illustrations that capture my heart. Nothing like fresh sheared fleece to spin. Sea Witch

Ooooh Dawn, what pretty things you found :) Hmmm you sure you wanna come shopping with me at the lil ole biddys? :) You have found some beautiful treasures yourself, Maybe I should come treasure hunting with you :) I can't wait to see everyones studio pictures tomorrow, especially yours, I am a lil sad because I couldn't join in, but I will be there in spirit visiting everyone's blogs and seeing where they follow their bliss :) I am sneaking time in here and there working on my bebe studio, I will share with you as I go. We attended the funeral Wed. and my mom cancelled her trip, she hurt her back worse so I am over there most of the time helping her, but her neighbor offered me her lap top to see everything tomorrow. I will call you as soon as I mail out your package. Take care lovey...Rose :)

You find the most wonderful things! I too love the pins from Michaels - I went right out and checked out their new "vintage" line after you posted about it. I especially love the little crystal beaded straight pins.
