Happy Monday!

I've found myself feeling much better this weekend and have been so thankful!!! I hope your Mother's Day was wonderful ~ ours was a quiet one....Emily, Brent and Clara spent the day with Emily's family and I know that they were so very proud to see them all!!! Dennis cooked a nice steak dinner for us and we simply relaxed.

Noah is healing so well! He's approaching his third week since he broke his leg and is getting stronger by the day. He still can't get around though and has kept me really busy!!! You don't realize what you take for granted until you lose it ~ our health is so very important...

I have a few new ideas to work on in the studio but it seems as though I haven't been able to spend much time there lately. Maybe this week will be better!!!! I've probably given you these images before but if not, here a few that I've scanned in ~

I hope your Monday is happy, productive and most of all, wonderful ~
xxoo, Dawn

These are neat images, Dawn. The one with the girls closely together under what looks to be an oriental parasol is adorable. So glad your Noah is getting stronger. BTW, stop by and get a free image if you guess what the French words mean.. (it's easy!)

Blessings,
Linda

I am glad things are looking up at your house. Sometimes we have to have difficult times to appreciate the good ones. Have a great Monday.

Dawn - Sounds like you had a well deserved relaxing day. I'm glad you're feeling better too.

I recognize the photo of the pocket hanging from the old Victoria - it is in my saved articles. It was also on the cover I think. That photo set off a flurry in my sewing room when I got into pocket-hanging-mode and made about four of them. Anyway, it was fun to see again.

Thank you for your kind words about my gift for Diana. Did you see a bit of your encouragement & nudge in the shoe? I didn't do it like yours *as a pin cushion) but, you know I love the little shoes too & took it a different direction. I am glad YOU of all people liked what I did.

Glad you are getting a little rest playing nurse. You are correct that our health is sooooooo very important. And often we do take it for granted. Hugs! Thank you for all the encouragement you give to ALL of us who so want to follow in your creative footsteps.

All the fuzzy, fluffy, rolley-polley baby signs of spring...don't ya just love 'em. I listen to the baby sparrows that inhabit the birdhouse hanging from my porch every year and the nest of robins that inhabit the drain spout at the edge of the roof...drives Scratchy crazy cause we can here them in the upstairs bedroom and they are early risers too.

We have so much to be thankful for as this season of warmth is upon us and so much to listen to...ahhhh, frogs...doesn't take much for me!

Glad to hear you are feeling better, wouldn't want to miss one minute of Spring!

Hugs...sharon

Hi Sweet Mamabird!!!! I'm glad you got some much needed rest! And that you got to enjoy your sweet family. Thank-you for your thoughtful comment on my blog. I'm trying to get on top of things, Amelia has been sick, so she has required all my time. And getting to post has been a bit tricky. I'm trying to get a few projects done and put in the mail, that's about all I've had time for. But I'm still lovin' every minute of it. Maybe one day I'll be at least~ half as good as my mentor~mamabird!!! I'll talk to you soon~~ Amelia has another doctors appt. in the morning. I'll email you all about it. Blessings Sweet Dawn, Deborah
