Don't you love it when you run across something that is so YOU?? I needed a black ink cartridge for my printer and was able to get out for a few hours Friday evening. Staples is next to Books-A-Million, which is near Michael's......and well, you get the idea.
On my way home I thought that Cindy might be still fluffing The Plum Tree for the BIG Geranium Festival that's in down town McDonough tomorrow and I was right!!! Look at the cool calendar I found! I don't even care if I ever change the date....I love the way it looks and it's perfect for the studio!!!! Thanks Joy!

Can you go into Michael's and not spend a dime??? Well, not me.... and I try to NEVER go without a 40% off coupon too ~ this is what I came home with, a heat gun ~ it will help speed things up when paint or glue is drying. If you subscribe to Michael's emails, they will email you coupons too!
When I went to Staples for the black ink cartridge, I also found some wonderful cardstock to print my images out on. I usually buy IVORY colored but this time decided to try the CREAM colored. We'll see how they look ~
Even though I wasn't creating today.....I was caring for Noah and watching sweet Clara for Emily to go to the doctor, I'm still THINKING of creating and stocking up on my supplies, so when it does happen....I'm ready!!!!
Have a wonderful weekend my sweet friends,

I love when I get a bit of spontaneous time just to look and shop. Sometimes those are the best excursions. Your calendar is just adorable!

Morning, I love the calendar. We have Barnes and Noble next to Michael's and I don't to either unless I have some play money. I like A.C. Moore too, they have a great paper section. I love the cream paper, I don't think I've ever tried a different color for photos. I might have to try that. I hope you have a good day, take care.
What a darling perpetual calendar! No wonder you love it.
I must start looking for a coupon for Michael's. I'm about ready to take a day trip to my local Michael's 40 miles away.
Love that calendar!
yes i have a problem with Hobby lobby and Michaels!
Seriously love the coupons , but they know full well that once you have made the trip to get there you will grab other stuff too! . and yes ... I do!
Dawn , once you get a free break in your studio , there will be no stoppping you!
I wish we had a Michael's close by. I have to drive quite a distance to get to one of the two nearest our town. You always find great stuff there. I hope you have a bit of time for puttering in your new studio.
Hi Dawn,
You are right, that calendar is so you! Enjoy.
I will have to check out the cream paper, too. I also always bought the ivory and sometimes it is just a bit too yellow. This cream sounds and looks perfect. Thanks for sharing!!
Love to you,
Tammy

Sandy
Hey Dawn, Just checked out Tammy's blog and your weekend with the girls looked like a total success!!
How fun!!
What would we do without Michaels...?? seriously, was also there today in between the Grands soccer games!!, xoxo~Kathy~ sweetup-northmornings...
Oh dawn,
I love the calendar, it is so you indeed.
Oh heat guns are great to have. Love mine and if you put thick paint on and heat it with that it makes the coolest textures... So much fun.
Blessings,Pea
I also have so many things form Michaels and Hobby Lobby, Handcock Fabrics, etc. I think I need to just open a supply store. I probably will never get around to using it all as I have not quite found my niche yet.
I do need this heat gun though!
Smiles, Cyndi
I must have just missed you-again. Cindy said you came by. We had a good day on Saturday- lots of new people stopped by. Sales were good. The weather held off and actually I was in the garden all day and of course the big tree has the best shade so I was comfy all day.
Thank goodness for the coupons! We that have these shopping "problems" need all the help we can get!
Glad things are going better in your world. Looking forward to seeing what your next lovely is.
Hey Miz Dawn,,sigh,,,,supplies,,,yes, a good thang,,,hahaha,,but seriously... the calendar is "soooo" you. Pssst...I take my printer cartridges to Cartridge World to have them refilled for half the cost of new ones.
*M*
I hope Noah is doing well--I get the Michael's coupons in the mail, too, and was just there a couple of days ago. And no, I can never go there without buying something! When I lived in Idaho, we had the most terrific craft store--you would LOVE it, Dawn! It's called Craft Warehouse, and they also have Archiver's, which I love. Another great place is Paper Cottage. Oh, I sure wish they had those here in California!
Don't you go changing that date on the calendar...it is my birthday...woohoo...!! LOL!! Just think of me and how much I love your blog and all your creative ideas - every time you look at the calendar !!! Sending love, Judy
