I'm working on a few things for my giveaway!

Don't you love these little bees?? I scanned them in from a children's nature book that I have ~ I'm not too crazy about bees in real life but images of them are so charming . . . feel free to take them if you'd like!!

I'm working on a few little projects for my giveaway, I'd like to draw more than one name this time. CLICK HERE IF YOU HAVEN'T ENTERED! Hopefully I can show you a glimpse later today! Thank you so very much for the sweet words about our anniversary and also about my blog. Am I addicted? Well, I'm thinking that Yes, I'm addicted to encouragement, friendship and kindness ~ all of which are found in the Land of Blog!

Thank you all again so very much for visiting me!

I had to show you this ~ Isn't this little thing precious? It's a paper potter! Such a great recycling item that uses old newspapers to create little starter pots for seeds. Just pop them in the ground when the seed is established!! I'm not sure where I found this photo, I'm sure you could Google it though. I keep trying to figure out a way to make one myself out of similar shaped items ~
Wishing you all a wonderful Monday!!

That is a clever idea for starting plants...it does have a unique design, though, so perhaps it won't be so easy to find something that fills in. Know a carpenter who does lathe work?

I love (drawing of) bees too! I saw your post about your shelves and I hope it works out! I like selling a mix of antiques and other stuff!
Neat pot maker!

I love bees on paper and for real , which is a good thing since they definitely love my lavender too. Great idea for the paper pots - it's so easy I have to wonder why I never thought of it!

Oh I like this idea. Couldn't you use a wooden drapery finial of some sort.

love the little bee illustration. was so delighted this year to have already seen half a dozen honey bees flitting around my carolina jessamine plants..last year I kid you not..there was only one lone honey bee that visited. It was so sad..I'm encouraged this year to have seen a few more. I truly hope they are on the come back. I have spoken with entymologists in Gainesville about the bee decline..and it has been rather interesting. I find them to be very fascinating little creatures.
Love those little pot makers. Will have to find one.
They certainly look handy.
