Today was such a nice day. I went to visit my sweet friend, Dawn. She asked me to take a few photos of her in her office so she could email one to Georgia Trend magazine. They're writing a story about her! How cool is that? I'm so excited for her winning Small Business Person of the Year for Georgia. She'll soon be going to the White House for a big celebration!
After I left Dawn, I stopped by a wonderful antique mall, From Out of the Past Antiques. I love to dig around for treasures when I visit and I did not leave empty-handed!! Neat little goodies just ready for a new life!!
Don't you just love these wonderful sepia-toned French postcards?!

Dawn, the latest items you've made are absolutely to die for. I love, love, love the assemblage of forgotten treasures for your friend's birthday. And those packaged tags made my little heart swoon. You are so talented, girl!!! Thank you for the get well wish. I absolutely do feel better.
Wishing all the best for you!

Yes, the sepia postcards are wonderful. So, too, is the photo that you took of your friend Dawn. She's lovely!
Congrats again to your friend! Lovely photo of her! What fun "finds" you've shown. Those ladies on the postcards are sure working hard!

I want to visit that antique store!! I'm thinking of making a collage in an old wooden wine box, and getting Brent to drill in a light, what do you think?

Hi Dawn! Thanks for visiting my blog and your lovely comments! I am in love with that game spinner piece, I think that's what it is. Can't wait to see what it looks like after your magic touches it! I wish I could have you over to play in beeswax, it really smells heavenly and sometimes is just the right mellowing touch to make something new look old. Have a wonderful weekend!
hugs,
Pam
I love old postcards. When in Paris, I usually drag a victim with me and go browsing through stacks of old cards in musky little back shops! Oh what fun!
Dawn - I want to go shopping with you! How do you find these things. I love the spinner.
